"Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was in a great location, close to everything , the train station is next door too. It's a good base for travelling around the peak district . The hotel was clean , the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. Id recommend staying here. "

"Overall my daughter and I enjoyed our stay and the hotel was located perfectly to get to the shops and for dining out locally. The swimming pool facilities were good and the room was lovely. The only negative point would be one of the towels we had was very badly marked with brown stains, but it didn’t ruin our stay! "

"Attended a business dinner then stayed overnight. The food was lovely including the breakfast. Rooms were good (great shower pressure!). The only slight negative was that the earliest breakfast (Saturday) was 8am. My colleague had to leave at 7:15 so he left without food. "

"Only here for a night and out most of it but the hotel was clean and the bed comfortable - bathroom was refurbished and the shower was great. The hotel is a stones throw from Nottingham Castle and directly next to an NCP car park. Only had drinks in the bar on the afternoon - it had closed when we got back at 11:15pm which was a shame as there were still people in it. Handy parking next door if you have the NCP app as it reduces the overnight stay from £15 to £10.95."
