We stayed here whilst attending a Caravan Trade Show at the Harrogate Showground, which is situated not far away. The room had everything you required. The food in the bar was excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay.

Lovely stay at this lovely pub/hotel. Great room and the food was fantastic. Only downside - I am diabetic and asked if I could put a ice block in the hotels freezer for a couple of hours then put back with my insulin, which was refused.

This is simple b and b accommodation but importantly it’s comfortable clean with good in room facilities and welcoming helpful staff. Value for money is tremendous and the pub restaurant is much the same. Great stopover on the way back to Scotland. Will be staying again!

The Bay Horse is a lovely, cosy pub and has a fantastic restaurant. Marios is brilliant and makes you feel really welcome. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Inn with fantastic food and lovely staff. We have stayed here previously and got the same warm welcome both times. We stayed with our dogs and there are plenty of nice walks in the area. Would highly recommend

My husband and I stayed at The Bay Horse Inn on our way from London to Edinburgh. It’s perfectly located with easy access just off the main road. The Inn is charming, beautifully maintained, with a friendly staff and terrific pub. We would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic find this is. The room is lovely & has everything we need. The staff are amazing and so lovely, friendly & welcoming. We dined in the restaurant which was beautiful, the food didn’t disappoint with again fantastic service. Definitely recommend this one 👍

Very comfortable and welcoming. Room was clean and well appointed. Walls a little thin, meant noise from neighbours, otherwise slept fine. Food excellent. Lovely quiet village. Great stopover.

2 day brake
We had a wonderful stay the room was pleasant, nice size room very clean good size bathroom we could hear the guests upstairs walking around but wouldn't put us off going again, we went into the bay horse were we where met by mario who made sure we had everything we needed and he set aside a table for evening meal with a view food was ok atmosphere was good nice log burner in the bar 10/10 for mario what a pleasant man 😃

Beautiful room
We stayed here after a day in Harrogate and Knaresborough. It was a boiling hot day and so I had purposefully booked a place with air conditioning. It did not disappoint! We had such a lovely, comfortable nights sleep with the room at a perfect temperature (you have a remote to control this). The room itself was really lovely, perfect for our needs, with a very modern bathroom. The shower was amazing and I didn’t want to get out! You are provided with hand wash/moisturiser and shower gel/shampoo. Staff in the pub were very friendly and helpful on our arrival. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you 😊
