"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. I arrived from Zurich and was delighted to discover it was just a few minutes from Davosnplatz train station, surrounded by shopping, dinning and entertainment, steps away from the ski hill jacobshorn. Greeted by Lorena, and again the hospitality was amazing, another lovely conversation. Lorena always greeted me throughout the reminder of my stay, which made it feel like my home in Davos. The room itself was perfect and the amenities were completely satisfying. I enjoyed breakfast every morning with a varied selection and stunning view of the mountains. My favourite was the fully stocked gym with as much equipment as I have at my gym in Toronto. This was easily one of the best vacations of my life and it would not have been the same without mountain plaza and its staff "

"This was a wonderful hotel. First points, it is a 3 minute walk from the Klosters Dorf train station. There aren't many food places right there, but if you don't mind taking a bus, taking a cab, or walking 20-plus minutes, there are many things within range. If you are there for skiing, it is a 3 minute walk to the nearest gondola, and the skiing is wonderful. Oh, and the hotel has a ski room downstairs to store wet gear so that you don't have to fill your room with it. As for the hotel itself... the people were all very nice, the food was very good, and you could tell it was taken care of. There are no elevators, though, so just know that if you have any mobility issues to request a lower-floor room (and if you can't do stairs at all, you may need to look elsewhere). The rooms themselves were very nice (hot water, comfortable beds, clean rooms). One minor negative... you need to reserve dinner by 1630 at latest, or you won't be able to get in, so please know that."
