"The hotel was on the river front and our room had a lovely terrace and a great view of the water. The room was very large and well decorated with drink making facilities available. The bathroom was modern with a lovely shower. Breakfast was good with a nice selection to offer, including some hot food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Two small minuses were, no lift to our room and the hairdryer was absolutely useless. "

"For the facility provided, 120 USD is definitely overpriced. The toilet was not even flushed (seriously) when we checked in. Booked for two guests but only one set of towel, comforter, pillow, and cup were provided. Breakfast is free but you get the quality that is "free". Internet connection is a joke. Again, I understand if the hotel just wants to provide the basic services but 120 USD per night is a no-go."

Only flaw was that the first room we were offered was different from the one on our booking. "We absolutely loved it here! Pictures on website don’t do it justice. It’s intentionally retro and attention to detail in rooms and communal areas makes it special. Our room was spacious, clean and lots of light. We had travelled around Germany before getting here and this was definitely my favourite place to stay. Downstairs there was a huge big lounge where we all gathered in the evenings. It felt like home and I’d definitely recommend and I would love to return!"
