"We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. "The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding...

"Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen ! Es hat alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und man hat mit 10 Personen ausreichend Platz. Auch die Lage ist top. Von dort aus kann man sämtliche Ausflüge starten. Zu Fuß ist das Dorf in ca. 5 Minuten zu erreichen und man kann bei der sehr netten Vermieterin eine Kanne frische Milch Zapfen. We were traveling from US so we were a little unsure where to get our key as there was no apparent front desk but thankfully our phones worked and we were able to get in touch with someone to meet us.
