"We had all of the amenities necessary to make this such a homie stay. Everything was included, the neighborhood was adorable and had easy access to main roads and restaurants. Quiet area. The only thing that we would change is a little more attention to detail with cleaning. There seemed to be random items left behind in each room. Otherwise, this host was amazing!"

"This guest house was just right for our weekend stay near family in Lancaster. Super clean, plenty of supplies in the bathroom and kitchen, air mattress for our 4th person, and we were able to bring our dog with us, which was great. Good communication with host, too, so we had everything we needed. "

"We had a wonderful time at this historic house. Mount Gretna is such a welcoming community and having the tall trees surrounding this cozy home is a one-of-a-kind experience. The rental needs some rennovations, but that's to be expected for a home this old. Also, the space is much smaller than it looked in the listing photos. We would love to visit again during the summer months!"

"My husband & I enjoyed a quiet relaxing weekend away at this cozy cottage. We visited a nearby farmers market to make our suppers and breakfasts while we were there. A Wolfe sanctuary, pretzel factory, the outlets & many other great sites. This was the perfect place to call home for a couple days. "

"Our family was in town for a figure skating competition and this property was a delight!. The interior is modern and updated with attention to every detail. Very comfortable beds and all the amenities you could possibly need. It is located in a nice community with lots of walking paths. "I stayed at Butterfly Cottage for several weeks during a work assignment in the area. Going back to Mount Gretna every evening was much better than a hotel, and the hosts of Butterfly Cottage thoughtful, communicated well and made sure the cottage was clean and well-appointed. I look forward to coming back soon."

"We really liked staying at this charming house. Plenty of room for the five of us and the doggie decor was warm and friendly. Getting to the front porch of the house (via GPS) was a bit of a challenge since Google Maps didn't know that there were footpaths leading to it but once we found it all was perfect!"

"We were in town for a friend's wedding, and so enjoyed our stay in the apartment! Not only was it a convenient 3-minute drive from the venue, but we were very close to downtown Lancaster and all the weekend festivities. Having our own private entry was a bonus due to our early flight home on check-out day. Catherine was quick to respond to any inquiries and was a gracious host. Would highly recommend this quaint apartment for your next stay!"

"The house had all the conveniences of home. Within walking distance of the Tabernacle, Jigger Shop, Playhouse, tennis courts, the Hideaway & playground. Rails to Trails within 1 mile. The parking spot in back of the house is a bit tight but ok for a smaller car. I would recommend bringing bottled water."

"Great place to unwind, unplug, and getaway. We had a great weekend fishing and sitting around the fire and in the hot tub at night. So peaceful. The only thing we could hear at night were cows mooing!"

"The house was BEAUTIFUL. It had a well stocked kitchen and comfy living area, two big things for our group. The entire house was decorated beautifully. We wish we had time and appropriate weather to enjoy the porch. This is the perfect little cottage especially if you want a weekend away from city life. It is a short distance away from Blur Marsh Lake which has lots of good trails. "
