We recommend ordering breakfast buffet too. This location is quite and lots of room for families. It was a relief to enter this region from the heavily busy Lake Bled area. You can wake up to birds chirping and look out over charming Slovenian homes with little gardens. Lake Bohinj is nearby and lots of sporting activities can be arranged from this location. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gasperin. The entire property is immaculately clean and the rooms appeared to be recently remodeled. The owners were very helpful with recommending activities and restaurants in the area. The daily breakfast had so many choices including many vegan options. Everything was fresh and they also made eggs to order. It was a short 2-3 minute walk to the lake, tourist center, and small grocery store. Location is central to many activities. We would definitely stay again. "

"Firstly it is not clear that a "standard"room has the bathroom outside but it is Expedia's fault. However, 24hr reception is not correct, had to wait 15 minutes on the phone and no one answered so had to call another property of the group to gain access. The external bathroom was very cold, the room adjacent to common area with very noisy vending machines so I did not sleep a wink. In the room no light switch near the bed, the bedside lamps present but there was no socket to use them with. Poorly maintained as the paint was peeling off in several areas. "
