"This property looks great from outside but it needs a full renovation badly. It felt like walking into a hotel in the early 90s. Carpets in the rooms are worn out and faded. Staff don’t show a lot of enthusiasm for what they do. Housekeeping was the worst. Upon arrival I noticed duvets were not very clean. A lot of hair on and in the duvet. I had to ask for them to be replaced. The shampoo and body wash container in the bathroom was empty throughout my stay. I travel with my own so didn’t need it but was waiting for housekeeping to noticed. I even tipped the cleaner one day hoping they’ll do a bit extra but no improvements. Although rooms were cleaned daily, staff did not change used glasses throughout the room even if they had wine from the day before. The casino, coffee shop, and location is all this property has going for it. "

"The hospitality at Hotel Mangart was absolutely phenomenal. The hostesses went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. One hostess accommodated my diet when the dinner menu when I was unable to eat what was being served. Another hostess, Ana S. was exceptional from the beginning of my stay to the end. When I lost my sunglasses in town, she went out of her way to give me a pair of her own which she no longer used. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. "

"The hotel is brillaint, 5 minute walk alway from the lake and the owner provided resturaunt recommendation and highlighted the best view points. I will definitely stay here again."

"Gorgeous new hotel - with cozy interiors and luxury fittings. Superb location (right next to the lake). Very friendly staff and their spa facilities were wonderful. Would highly recommend getting their classic massage. "

"We ended up here because we couldn’t find a hotel anywhere else, but it was awesome. Great price and very “European”. We stayed in a senior suite with a living room and bathroom. Gorizia is a beautiful, small, Italian college town. We had a delicious dinner just across the street and truly enjoyed the 16th century bar in our hotel where the bartender told us a lot about the hotel history. "

"Der Kontakt zum Besitzer (Thomas) und zur Houskeeperin (Renata) war top! Sie hatte sehr gute Ideen für unseren Urlaub. Das Haus wurde gut renoviert benötigt aber kleine makeover arbeiten (nichts gravierendes). Die Küche ist sehr groß und super ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer waren sauber und gemütlich. Der einzige Schwachpunkt war die fehlende Klimaanlage. Da wir in einer extrem heißen Woche da waren, waren die oberen Räume tagsüber nicht benutzbar. Am Abend öffneten wir alle Fenster und es war Recht schnell angenehm im ganzen Haus. Leider besuchten uns dann eine Fledermaus und Skorpione. Alles in allem haben wir uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt. "
