"What a luxury to step out of our room onto a soft, white sand beach. Between our room, the water and neighbouring restaurants, we never needed to leave the beach! The rooms are simple, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The bungalows are lovely with a laid-back vibe, a beautiful garden and lots of shade trees. "Je n'ai pas séjourné au Kizimkazi lodge ,lorsque je suis arrivé il n'était pas encore prêt pour l'ouverture alors on m'a attribué une chambre dans le resort juste devant,même propriétaire, pas la même gamme ! j'étais gagnante la manager m'a promis de trouver une solution au problème je n'ai pas été déçu.Donc mon jugement est un peu biaisé mais je n'ai aucun doute sur la qualité des prestations à venir ,merci Sharlène!!!"

"Nice if you like solitude and being in nature, and don't mind "rustic". Big open air villas surrounded by trees (even a few baobabs), which are frequent by monkeys (including red colobus). Not so nice if you are used to excellence and attention to detail in everything. Resort is in need of TLC at a minimum or renovation at a maximum to make it worth the price. All of the cushions are either worn out or torn with the cotton pocking out or zippers not closing... I would not recommend booking any...

"Hotel was closed for renovations and they didn’t inform us before we arrived. We had to look for an alternative place to stay at night and Expedia was not helpful either with finding another hotel. I would never recommend this place because of the lack of communication and inconvenience caused! "

"WOW just wow!!!! We loved our stay at this small boutique hotel. Beautiful and wonderful staff. We traveled with our 1.5 year son and it was perfect. We will recommend it to all who are looking for a slice of paradise. Good food, amazing ice cream and smoothies nice decorated and clean rooms/bungalows, stunning pool area, helpfull staff my husband went on a fishing trip planned by staff. Not much to do in the area but it is close to more lively Paje. But to be honest we loved hanging on the sun...

"Is a basic beachhut set up. Basic huts set a few mins walk back from beach. Cheap and good option. Rooms are basic and functional but low end as to be expected at this price. Lively bar, more of a independent traveller vibe than many Zanzibar resorts. Food in restaurant was quite fine."

"Tuna Lodge in realtà è inaccessibile. Al mio arrivo il "manager" mi spiega che c'è un'altra lodge della stessa proprietà poco distante, "Caveman Lodge" e quindi mi sistemerà lì. Il mio soggiorno non è stato male, Caveman Lodge è molto caratteristica, tetto e porta di paglia, io ero al piano rialzato e per accedervi una scaletta di legno (per portare il bagaglio mi hanno aiutata!) avevo un bel terrazzino con divanetto e tavolino....non go avuto problemi ma sarebbe giusto un aggiornamento!!!!"

"i did a very late check in and what i found was a smile from staff upon my arrival, a very quiet place with a huge clean pool, awsome food options and a full mini bar inside the room. big smart screen tv and great A/C unit. the beach is almos endless in low tide and the beauty expands for miles.
