"The Serena Hotel Dar es Salaam is a great facility with very friendly and hospitable staff. The only recommendation I would offer is that they consider updating their mattresses. Mine was clearly tired. But so was I, so I was able to sleep nonetheless. "

"This place is quite a palace. It’s luxurious and very comfortable. From the moment you walk in, it’s restful. Your big heavy bags are whisked to your room. A pot of hot dawa is ready for you at check-in. My room was clean, had a spot for my luggage, and a great big window. Quiet as well. Slept like a rock. The dinner/brunch buffets are nothing short of indulgent. I only wish I’d had more time to try the pool. Business center was quick and well appointed for printing documents. Only request I’d...

Very comfortable and luxurious.

"This place is quite a palace. It’s luxurious and very comfortable. From the moment you walk in, it’s restful. Your big heavy bags are whisked to your room. A pot of hot dawa is ready for you at check-in. My room was clean, had a spot for my luggage, and a great big window. Quiet as well. Slept like a rock. The dinner/brunch buffets are nothing short of indulgent. I only wish I’d had more time to try the pool. Business center was quick and well appointed for printing documents. Only request I’d have is that I believe this hotel lists airport transfer on this site. This is inaccurate and should be updated."
