Steps to the ocean from dune deck dining area overlooking the beach ***SOUTHERN SHORES has PRIVATE BEACHES only for residents and their guests/renters. Consequently, the beach areas are not crowded.***

***Private home with convenient CENTRAL location for visiting sites to the north (Duck, Corolla and off road north beaches) OR south (Wright Brothers, Nags Head, Lost Colony and sound/sea excursions).***


CUSTOM OCEANFRONT HOME with hexagonal open ceiling (cypress) in main house area with views of the ocean from the great room with adjoining dining area. The well equipped kitchen provides plenty of space to create meals and orchestrate morning coffee (drip coffee maker & Keurig).***


THE MAIN UPPER LEVEL is accessible from either the lower level entrance off the driveway carport or from the upstairs front porch to the home's foyer.*** An outside ramped walkway (NOTE: not ADA compliant due to steep slope) from the front of the house to the ocean side (back) of the property provides direct access to the dune top deck and to the upstairs main living area of the home and oceanfront deck, WITHOUT ANY STEPS. This has been useful to guests who have difficulty with steps and also for aging four footed furry family members!***


MAIN LEVEL LAUNDRY AREA is stocked with all the linens you will need for your visit (100% cotton sheets for all beds, bath towels & BEACH TOWELS).***


DECKS, HOUSE AND DUNE, provide panoramic views and multiple sitting areas to enjoy the 360 degree vista. There is a shaded lower level deck with table and chairs, barbecue grills (gas and charcoal) and an outside shower. Umbrellas, both deck and beach, beach chairs, boogie boards and 2 ocean kayaks are supplied as well.***


LOWER LEVEL has pool table and flat screen TV providing kids (young and old) a place to play.***


SEPARATE SLEEPING WINGS!
***The private master bedroom (north wing) with king bed has a large picture window overlooking the ocean. The master bathroom has mosaic glass tile, dual spray shower, Jacuzzi (TM) tub, vessel sink and modern finishes making this bath a retreat to look forward to.***

Great place to stay!
My daughter and I (and our small dogs) enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. We had everything we needed and the location and private beach were perfect. We were there during the off-season, celebrating a quiet and relaxing getaway for my birthday. Love it that the main part of the house is one level. The only thing we would suggest for improvement would be updates for the living room couches and mattresses. Other that, everything was wonderful, even though we did have to leave 2 days early due to strong rains, winds, and flash flood warnings. Hope to make it back for another week in the future.

House has a very good location. Could use some upgraded furniture and mattresses. Not the best comfort. Umbrellas and chairs provided for beach are just ok. The beach front location is nice and easy to access.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway
We usually get a big house and share it with family and friends. This time we wanted a place just for the two of us. It was very clean and the location was great. We spent hours on the viewing deck watching the surfers and dolphins. A perfect way to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

My wife and I were very pleased with the beachfront home at 30 Ocean Blvd.. The house was very clean with all of the household essential items, the deck around the house and out to the beach was great for lounging and the location was close to everything. We had a very nice time.

Great location and great house. It is split into two master suite wings with 2 kings. One wing also has another bedroom with 2 beds. Highly recommended. Private walkway to the beach.

OBX IN THE FALL!
Seascape Cottage has been our FALL getaway for many years now. It is perfectly located for us between Duck and Kitty Hawk. Being retired seniors, we enjoy beach front for our long walks by the ocean, our wine on the deck with its beautiful view,yet close to places to eat and shop!!

Great Winter Beach Get-Away!
We have stayed at this property before and loved it, but it had been awhile due to availability/scheduling conflicts. IT WAS SO GOOD TO BE BACK! November visit
This is our third visit to Seascape Cottage and loved it as much as we did in the past. The house is impeccably clean and very comfortable. The owner is very nice, accessible, and responsive. Love the dune deck!
