Great city with a lot of history
I visit the Kitakyushu area at least twice a month on business. I frequently stay at local hotels as my business (wedding minister), requires me to conduct weddings on both Saturdays and Sundays aas well as many Japanese national holidays. Nice place
Although I was there on business for this latest trip, I have visited the area before when I had more time t explore. As a foreign visitor, (albeit one who has lived and worked in Japan for over 30 years), Kokura is one of my favorite locations.
I travel to Kitakyushu and Fukuoka a couple of times a month for business. The areas around both cities offer several types of interesting places to visit on one's free time, from temples and castles to shopping and museums. Highly recommended to are
