"Older hotel that has nice updates. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The food at the restaurants was mostly Indian dishes."

"I found little bugs in my bed. I went to check the rooms of my 2 friends who were staying in 2 different floors. Same problem I don't know what the bugs were. Long story short I alsways keep a little blow up mattress in my luggage and used that to sleep on."

"22:30pm my door was opened by the receptionist, they then poked something through the door to unlock the safety latch. And just walked into my room, I got out of bed to ask what they were doing, they said "oh, I thought you were still out" and left. In the morning the same staff member was on reception, no apology or explanation was given. "

Unlike other big hotels catering for tourists from outside Tanzania, this is not part of a multi-national chain. The staff are welcoming and efficient and there is a choice of room categories. "Convenient from location & price point as I revisited after 26 yrs Carbon air pollution from line up barbecue services especially in evenings when outside could be negating otherwise indoors is ideal! Accommodating friendly team of staff to your service was excellent"

A very good Tanzanian hotel

"A very good 'Tanzanian' hotel with branches in Dar es Salaam and in the far south of the country at Mtwara. Unlike other big hotels catering for tourists from outside Tanzania, this is not part of a multi-national chain. The staff are welcoming and efficient and there is a choice of room categories. A wide 'local' selection at the buffet breakfast is a satisfying start to your day. I have never before written a hotel review (although I have stayed in many) but with this I wanted to promote a hotel I have always been happy to stay in, and one that benefits the local economy more than most others. "
