"We enjoyed 4 nights here. The staff were absolutely lovely. Always greeted with a smile and always willing to help with any request. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast varried and good quality. The pool area was very relaxing and free towels and changing facilities provided. On the final morning we were unfortunately unable to have breakfast as our flight time was changed. This was no problem for the staff who provided a lovely breakfast for us all to take with us at 5.30am. A porter was also waiting to take our bags from the bedroom without even requesting this. An excellent experience, thank you lovely Hotel Shanker staff."

"We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted with smiles and some fresh juice. The room was beautiful and clean. I loved that we could open the windows to let fresh air in. The grounds were beautiful and an amazing background for pictures. Breakfast was included and was very delicious. "

"I’m glad I chose this hotel. First of all, location, location, location! It’s close proximity to all the stores and restaurants in Thamel. It’s very convenient. Speaking of that, there is a convenient store that is really close to the hotel which closes at 11 or 11:30 pm. Breakfast is fine. My first day was just average but second day is way much better. My main concern is the shower area. The water doesn’t drain faster than it’s supposed to do, but that doesn’t make me give them a lower score, because all the staff have been Amazing. They are very accommodating and just helpful to all my inquiries and needs. I applaud all the employees there starting from the staff at the reception area, cleaning personnel and the restaurants at Kava. You guys have been doing above and beyond to your guests and I appreciate that. I’m planning to come back here in Nepal in a year or two and will definitely book again at Fairfield Marriot hotel.
