"Old motor inn that has been smartly redone. Exceptionally nice and comfortable. Loved everything about it. We stopped on the way down from Wisconsin to Georgia…this was a few miles off the beaten path and well worth it! Thanks!"

"The Lodge room was big, with a large balcony overlooking the lake. The room deco was early 1990's and was clean and looked in new condition. Was very nostalgic and very comfortable and again clean. I highly recommend the lodge and will definitely be back!"

"Room was very clean. Great accomodations for a larger family like mine (2 adults, 4 kids, 2 under 2). We also had enough to set up the bassinet and move freely about. Beds were comfortable. Liked the full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the wall. Really good for forgetful people like myself. The kids love the pool. We stayed to ride out a storm with strong tornado potential and was happy to find they have a firm plan if one was to hit. Definitely staying there again!"

"My husband and I stayed for one night. The front desk ladies were super sweet for our later than normal check in. (11pm) The impending weather was worrisome and they did warn us it could get bad with tornadoes. Around 12:30am the local FD knocked on everyone’s doors to let us know that we were under a tornado warning and where to shelter if we heard the sirens later. We did hear the sirens but after looking at the weather map we deemed it safe. Check out is 11am so it was nice to sleep in. I probably will never go to that area again but if I did I would not hesitate to stay there again!"
