"We stayed at this little VRBO which had all the essentials plus loads of charm for the two of us. It was very close to the ring road which made it an easy stop for the night before hitting the road again. The view out the front was spectacular for my morning cup of coffee as well. Would definitely stay again!"

Great start of my Icelandic Trip!

"I checked in late due to longer travel times. Front Desk upgraded my room to a deluxe for free and immediately made a resy at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant allowed me to be 7 minutes late due settling into the room. I appreciate the cleanliness, friendliness, and comfort of this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We loved our stay at the Magma Hotel. It was serene and made us feel like we were truly experiencing the calm of Iceland. The cabins are a good size with stunning views, the beds were super comfy, and they provide binoculars which we loved since there were so many unique birds in the pond we overlooked! The staff was very welcoming and helpful which was reassuring since the location is decently far from a city/town (Kirkjubaejarklaustur has a small grocery store but the hours are a bit limited and it's the only town for miles). Having breakfast included is a luxury and was very convenient before starting our long days of exploring. There were a lot of different options. The location is also convenient as it allows you to be an hour closer to Vatnajokull National Park than Vik. We would definitely stay here again!"
