"We had 13 adults and 4 children in this house for a family wedding. There was enough room for everyone. Overall the house worked well for us. We had several mice in the kitchen and the house needed minor repairs, kitchen sink facet was loose and handle kept coming off. Screen door needed repair. Back porch had lots of spider webs. Flower beds needed to be cleaned up. Several items were needed, blankets, dishwasher soap, and pillows which were delivered same day. "

"I can't say enough about the Rising Sun log cabin. It was truly one of the BEST properties my family and i have ever stayed. Larry and Susan are the most kind, pleasant, and down to earth Hosts. "What a wonderful place to getaway for a few days. The hosts were beyond gracious & the accommodations were outstanding. It was so peaceful sitting on the back deck, hearing the rooster, & enjoying the beauty of the property. The inside is decorated beautifully & the bed was like sleeping at home!! Mike was nice enough to even start a fire for us which made it even that more enjoyable. Would certainly recommend this to anyone!! Thanks for having us!"

"Was told at check in the elevator was out to 3rd floor. Told clerk I don't do stairs well with knee surgery. Switched room to 1st floor. Same person that was there in May when I stayed. Very nice customer service which is greatly appreciated "
