"This is a large and very comfortable hotel in the traditional style but much enlarged over the years. The location is a couple of miles outside Kirchburg with easy access to the skiing via a frequent bus which stops directly outside and serves the local lifts and through to Kitzbuhl. The room was large and comfortable and the extensive spa facilities were outstanding. Breakfast and Dinner were a highlight - some of the best we have found in Austria. "Great stay for the price. A bit of a walk to the bus stop when in ski boots. If you have a car, you can just drive to the free parking lots around the various lifts."

"Nice hotel with good breakfast and great dining rooms. More affordable than other hotels in town. Centrally located. Nice staff. Room furniture and amenities are simple and the bathroom a bit dated. Not really 4 stars in my point of view."

"Fantastic base for our skiing holiday in Kirchberg. We are both beginner skiers so the resort was perfect for us with a blue slope and ski school within easy walking distance of the hotel. Very close to the train station, the town centre and ski school area with convenient, free bus links to ski lifts and other ski areas in the locality. Beautiful room with amazing views, very helpful and friendly staff, good food and a lovely spa. Would definitely return!"

"Booked the hotel to stay for the Hahnenkamm Ski race weekend. Ended up also getting married in the Kaiserstube. The staff was excellent, the room was great! The views are amazing! It’s a bit of a drive to get to the Maierl Alm on the one-ish lane road during the winter, but not necessarily to do frequestly since you can ski in and out very easily. Can’t say enough good things!!"

"Stayed for 5 night ski vacation. Food was excellent and priced well. I ate both breakfast and dinner at Willms and did not get bored. Service was friendly and owners are focused on skier needs and ready every morning with advise on slopes and lifts. Not really a ski in - ski out location . Slope across the street is a bunny hill suitable only for beginners and it is not attached to other lift systems. Sauna and steam are well maintained, run very hot, but somewhat small with only 6 lounges so...

"Everything about our stay was perfect!!! The property itself is gorgeous, the room was immaculately clean. The location…. The views… Everything was close by. We’ll definitely stay here again, but for a longer time. We arrived very late and the front desk left a welcome envelope welcoming my family with the room keys and all the necessary information for our stay. "Wir haben uns sehr wohl in diesem freundlichen Familienbetrieb gefühlt. Für sportliche Schifahrer ist der Aschauer Hof ein idealer Ausgangspunkt: Morgens fährt der Schibus direkt vor dem Haus ab und erreicht in 5 min die Schiwelt "Wilder Kaiser" und in 8 min. "Kitz-Ski". Abends kann man vom Pengelstein über eine Skiroute direkt zum Hotel abfahren und danach das vorzügliche Essen genießen. Der kleine Ort Aschau ist ein Juwel in den Kitzbüheler Alpen an der Schnittstelle der beiden Schigebiete. "
