"This was our first visit to Maui and the highlight was driving the Road to Hana. Having done our research, we knew that this wasn’t something we’d want to rush. I approximated our drive over two days with sites to visit along the way (black sand beach, Lindbergh’s grave, rainbow eucalyptus trees, waterfalls, etc.) and determined that this property would be an excellent “half-way” place to stay. Upon booking, I received a friendly response from Terry providing detailed information about how to locate the property, where to stop to gather food for our stay, things to do in the area, etc. to aid in our planning. All instructions were super helpful.We arrived to the property around 6pm, finding that the gate had been left open for us. When we pulled up and honked our horn as instructed, we were greeted by sweet doggo, Star. Terry promptly greeted us and showed us around, pointing out some of the unique features of the property (outdoor shower, tankless water heater, etc.) Owners Terry and Michael have thoughtfully provided many items that could be useful to those traveling, including body boards, beach chairs, towels for use at the beach, etc. The accommodation itself was adequate for our needs- a comfortable bed, a hot shower, kitchen facilities, secure parking, wifi, and privacy. (Caution: mosquitoes and other pests are abundant. It’s the tropics.)Appreciate Terry and Michael’s hospitality. Hoping to tour their property and Michael’s art studio should we return some day. "

"We stayed one short night at Fisher’s but it was a treat to be there. We loved listening to the occasional rain downpour although short lived and waking up to the songbirds. The master bedroom looked out into the lush surroundings and the fresh air poured into the room. This home was well cared for, well stocked and the housekeeper did a great job. Thanks for the good experience!!"

"Located between two beaches (within walking distance) in quiet Hāna, this picturesque beach house was the perfect setting for a peaceful family vacation for 7 people. Quiet, clean, plentiful amenities, well maintained, responsive property manager. Cherished our time and made many forever memories. Sad to leave, eager to return. "

"This charming cottage in Hana takes one back in time to another era where life was a little less complicated. It's a good example of how a seemingly simple little home that is nicely cared for can be all one needs.The home and grounds exemplify Feng shui, in perfect alignment with neighbouring pastures and the nearby ocean. One looks forward to returning after a full day of exploring and just being.The home does have some critters like a couple geckos and the odd spider that somehow sneak in past the screens. The signs of life are a welcome sign, I'm grateful the owners don't spray the place to death like other rentals. The property is on the "highway" but it's barely noticeable. The home is very quiet and peaceful, except for the sounds of nature (like crickets at night). The location can not be beat. You're just slightly out of town in an absolutely beautiful area, but 3 minutes from the beach.If you're considering staying in Hana, you'll be delighted with this choice. Don't make the mistake of staying for too short a period. Hana has so much to enjoy."
