"This cabin was even better than the pictures. It was quiet and peaceful. Appointed with everything we could possibly need. We have stayed in many rentals and this was our favorite. The view is better in person. The owners were very responsive. We enjoyed hiking to see the B25 crash site at Round Top, the cave at Lost Valley, the Buffalo River area, and Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. HCR is incredible for rock climbing and mountain biking. The Ozark Cafe in Jasper was enjoyable. Harp’s in Jasper is the closest grocery store. It meet our basic needs. The rental amenities are fantastic. All of them are high quality and appear fairly new. Even the giant bean bags turn into comfortable bedding. Be advised, if you plan to arrive by motorcycle, the gravel road to the home is over a mile long. We would definitely like to stay here again. We had a wonderful experience. "

"Perfect location; close to Jasper and numerous hikes. Three couples on our trip and everyone had their own bathroom. Very well maintained and well laid out floorplan. Would definitely stay again!"

"Stayed there for 5 days in early spring. The cabin is one of the nicest I've ever rented. Everything is pretty new. The layout of the cabin with its 2 bedrooms and baths is quite handy. It's on a state highway, easy to find with Debre's directions, but there is little traffic. The town of Jasper (3 miles away) has a lot to offer, especially the great Ozark Cafe."

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Bungalow. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and was the perfect size for 2 for our weekend getaway. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. "

"This was such a cute and quaint/cozy cabin; just perfect for the 3 adults in our group! It was thunderstorming as we arrived and very easy to get in quickly, easy to park and unload closer to the back door. Had everything we needed to cook. Plenty of warm water for all of our showers and extremely comfy beds! Wish we had more time there!! Thank you!"

"We were two couples on a two-night winter hiking getaway and we would rent this cabin again anytime. It was a great stay.This cabin was the perfect location for two great hikes we did (Glory Hole and Magnolia Falls) and it's close also to Smith Creek Preserve and Boxley Valley trails - and others.We loved that it had two comfortable king-bed bedrooms, each with a bathroom on two levels. Plenty of space. The main house was very open with easy seating. Smallish kitchen but plenty of space for 4. Big deck with nice overview. We used the firepit only one night because of cool night temps but it was very nice.Owners were very responsive - something we value with any rental experience.We give this cabin a 5 star because it was a great stay, very comfortable and perfect for our needs -- one of our favorite stays for great bedroom/bathroom spaces.To keep things real and for those who care, there is some wear-and-tear outside and charcoal grill is worn but workable. Also it's not remote/ near main road but big space and nice broad sunrise view. Tips: bring what you need (we forgot foil and nonstick spray); not many 'renter leftovers.' And pick up a bag of ice (ice trays, not ice maker). It's clear in rental description you need to bring your own consumables, although there were plenty of paper towels and TP provided for two nights. FYI, coffee pot on counter is a drip style (and there were filters) but we also found a pod-style coffee maker in a cabinet if you like that. "

"Such a beautiful area! It’s challenging to drive and not look out at all of the beautiful views! This cabin is very nice! Each morning we enjoyed the hot tub located at the dawn side of the cabin. We only used the one bedroom nearest the bathroom but the mattress was very comfortable. We had excellent and immediate communication with the owner. The cabin was very clean and nicely secluded from the road and nearby homes. This cabin is centrally situated near (within 30 minutes) of several hiking trails which was the purpose of this trip. If you want Ozarks this cabin will supply! "
