"We spent 5 days here over New Years and had the most perfect time away. The farm house was so lovely and all our needs were catered for. There were even logs provided for the log fire. The location was absolutely stunning, very good for the soul. Plenty of room for all 7 of us, and the kids enjoyed it too. Beds are comfy. Helen the host greeted us when we arrived and provided us with all the information needed. She is a great host. We would very much recommend this place and will definitely be booking up to stay again. "

"This cottage is more spacious than it looks. We had a family Christmas together and there was plenty of space for everyone and lots if different areas to spend time in. The cottage is extremely well equipped, and we cooked Christmas dinner. There is a garden area, but it is not directly outside the cottage, it is a large area and our grandchildren had a lot of fun playing in it. All beds were comfortable with clean linen. We know the area well and the cottage is 2 miles from Slapton village which is very pretty. The owners were very helpful and communiwith them was good. All in all we would recommend."

"Just spent 2 nights at The Hope & Anchor and had a fantastic stay. We arrived on Boxing Day a bit early for check in and although the restaurant was packed and the staff were really busy we got a very warm welcome and were able to go to our room. We had lunch and evening meal on the first day which were excellent. The breakfast was lovely (scrambled eggs were perfect and the overnight oats excellent). The room was very clean and warm with a nice view of the sea. There was a lovely welcome bag for the dog with lots of thoughtful things included. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The young girl serving breakfasts was particularly good. We were able to park on the road in front of the pub as it was out of season and the costs of the car park next door were reasonable. Will be booking again for next year!"

"The cottage is very well situated for easy access to Kingsbridge on foot and on the flat too. It's very well appointed, we didn't really want for anything. It's warm and cosy, bed was incredibly comfortable, kitchen has everything you'd reasonably need. Car parking in an allocated slot 3 minutes walk from the cottage and no problems there. Staircase is a little steep with 3 or 4 steps at the bottom so that is something to consider if you're less mobile. But otherwise - we really enjoyed our stay. Would we stay again? Definitely, yes!"
