Now available for groups of six people, come and enjoy the bespoke furnishing and interiors of May Cottage and of its bijou neighbour, In Focus. Located in the coastal village of Titchwell, couples and small groups will fall in love with this wonderful property that features outstanding views of the coastline and the rolling fields that border the village.
The upside down living design of this house mean that the two luxurious bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The elegantly wood-panel master bedroom hosts a king-size bed set on original stripped wooden floorboards, and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom hosts twin beds that can be converted into a super-king on request, and features an exposed brick chimney breast. Both bedrooms are dressed using white five star linens, ensuring a comfortable nights sleep. Also located on this floor is the family bathroom offering slipper bath with separate walk-in shower. A well-equipped utility room leads out to the rear garden. The facilities provided are of a superb standard, giving guests an excellent, boutique hotel-style experience.
On the first floor, you have multiple options for where to relax. In the snug, two beautiful leather chairs are perfectly positioned to benefit from the warmth of the wood burning stove, with a beautiful bar billiards table behind. Large sumptuous sofas draw you in to the sitting area, beckoning you to nestle in to enjoy a film on the Smart television or dance around to the vinyl record player. On the same floor, a stylishly appointed well-equipped kitchen overlooks the fields to the coastline beyond. The adjacent dining area hosts a table with seating for six guests and offers views of the surrounding countryside. Bring the outside into this space by opening the large bi-fold doors that lead out to the rooftop balcony featuring glass balustrade. Spend sunny days positioned on one of the sun loungers, or enjoy al fresco dining sat round the french style bistro set. In winter months, grab your binoculars to observe skeins of geese noisily flying overhead, and at night you'll be able to stargaze in the clear dark expansive skies.
Next door, the accompanying accommodation, In Focus, boasts underfloor heating throughout, and provides a further luxurious king-size bed. The accompanying kitchen area features a breakfast bar and there are en suite shower facilities. Outside, guests can enjoy a small courtyard that has been equipped with a charming French bistro set, perfect for al fresco dining or simply relaxing in the fresh coastal air. This is the perfect separate living space for those guests with mobility issues or those who may prefer a bit more privacy away from the main group. Together, these two properties are a great choice for a multi-generational family holiday or a group of friends.
To the rear of May Cottage is private hot tub area, which is accessible from bedroom two. Perfect for those long and lazy summers evenings, where you can take in the sunset after having enjoyed a day on the coast. A lockable shed contains a barbecue, and doubles up as a bike store for your own bikes. For those travelling via electric car, the off-road parking includes two charge points.
For a smaller group, May Cottage (sleeps four) and In Focus (sleeps two) can be booked separately.
