There are lots of pretty coastal villages, offering great places to eat and drink and little artisan shops. Heritage lovers will also be spoilt for choice with The Sandringham Estate, Holkham Hall, Blickling Hall, the Old Quarter of Hanseatic Kings Lynn and Norwich, with its numerous museums, and Norman Castle, all within easy reach. Those who know Norfolk will also know that it presents the opportunity for some of the best birdwatching in the UK.
