The room was open and nice and clean. Bob & Yvonne answered my questions. The location right on the river was amazing and the amenities were on point. It was a great place to stay.
Owners were so wonderful with communication. As a solo traveller I felt very safe. The property is exactly what I wanted for my stay and the space is quiet. Definitely would return.
Yvonne and Bob were great hosts. Communication was timely and responsive to our questions. The studio is spacious and immaculate. The view of the river is beautiful. Comfortable queen bed. Gas fireplace heats up the place fast. Left it off overnight to not get too warm. Walking distance to convenience store/pizza or Longfellows Restaurant. 24 min drive to Sugarloaf. Several other stores and sites along the way. Enjoyed cidery and beer shed then lunch from Rolling Fatties when ski lifts were closed due to high winds. All in all a great value. Would absolutely stay here again!
We had a last minute addition to our group one weekend before heading up to Sugarloaf to ski with friends and there was "no place at the inn" for myself and my son. I was able to contact Yvonne to request to book and she was very responsive and able to accommodate us even though it truly was last minute.
Communication was fast and easy and checking in was simple - she was even able to accommodate our late arrival.
The room is clean and spacious and there is a small kitchenette with a Keurig and a mini-fridge with separate freezer. Perfect for a morning coffee before grabbing breakfast on the go and for storing a drink for after skiing.
Yvonne even provided some breakfast bars and fruit crisps.
I highly recommend this stay as it is perfectly located to get to the mountain in just 20 minutes; it is clean and comfortable and Yvonne is a great host!
Very clean, cozy, and felt almost brand new. Comfortable bed! We very much appreciated the snacks and water, and the communications with our host. Would definitely try to stay here if I’m in the area again.
Yvonne and Bob go above and beyond to make sure the place is clean and ready for arrival. We had our traveling nurse practitioner stay here and she really enjoyed her stay.
The property was clean and as listed. Bob and Ivonne were extremely helpful right from the time we booked. They went out of their way to help us when we had car trouble. Awesome place and would certainly stay if an opportunity presents itself.
Check in process was super easy, place was exactly as described. Very clean with some snacks and water in the fridge as a bonus. Fire pit and hammock are icing on the cake.
Everything was as advertised and things went smoothly.
I got a very quick response whenever I needed one, which wasn't very often.
You should definitely go to the Coplin Dinner House if you stay here.
The hammock rules!
My husband and I spent three nights at this wonderful studio apartment in Kingfield. The space is large, with windows overlooking the beautiful backyard, which is full of flowers and leads to the river. Small things like snacks in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom were nice to have. Yvonne was great with communication the entire time. We would definitely stay again!
Comfortable and very clean, this efficiency has everything you need and is close to skiing, hiking and biking. Walking distance to town. Great views from the house and the outside living area is terrific: comfy hammock and firepit at the river's edge and a picnic table and gas grill for cooking out. The hosts went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again!
This place is very clean. The gas fireplace is nice to have for ambiance, and heats the place up quickly.
Close enough to walk into town, and a really nice view out the windows towards the river.
We had an very good experience here, and would definitely stay again.
This property was perfect for a weekend getaway to ski. Only 20 minutes from Sugarloaf in Kingfield ME. Our hosts were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even shoveled out our own personal parking spot right next to the house! We couldn’t have asked for better and more attentive hosts! We would definitely stay here again in the future!
We needed a place to stay for a weekend of skiing. This cut 20 min from out commute from southern Maine which was nice after a long day at work on Friday! This is a cozy, clean, very comfortable spot. My 15 year old son, his friend and I enjoyed our stay. Brought our own breakfast food and snacks - which worked well with the mini fridge, microwave and toaster. Very well appointed and easy! Thank you!!!
The place had enough space for My daughter, fiance and me. Comfortable and clean, property owners were very helpful and friendly. The area is very centered, convenient stores, gas station, restaurants, and even a playground. Sugarloaf mountain is not far at all, the outdoor center and a bowling alley are close too. My family and I were very happy with our stay, the area, the accommodation and the beautiful views and amount of activities. Would definitely recommend for couples get away or family of three get away.
