Asked for a tall handicap toilet because we both have knee issues and pain. Also smoke detector was hanging off wall, The bed was a box spring with a foam topper. Not very comfy. No breakfast choices. Belgian waffle batter but , no butter, peanut butter. Very disappointed. American run hotels know what travelers want and try to cater to them.

Great Staff
They are in transition from Motel 6 to Baymont. Still undergoing remodel. I just wanted to say the staff was very appreciative and nice. Really went out of their way to make guests feel welcome

Room was flooded. The two double beds were very uncomfortable and the one squeaked with every turn or any movement. We probably would have slept better in our car.

Waited forever for someone to come to the desk and check us in and then she was super rude. First room we were in didn’t have a shower curtain. Next room was better but just ok. Only 1 thin blanket on the beds.

Love the fact room had big screen smart TV in it but thats after hour 45 minutes just to get checked in. Then charged $30 a night for my ESA animal. When we went through Expedia and paid through Expedia. Then put us in a room with a queen bed, when we paid for king. They finally got us in the right room. The beds are hard as a rock. Wake up every morning hardly being able to get out of bed, hurting that bad. They have the whole 3rd floor under Construction so they was slamming doors at 430am. They said they dont have smoking room's but yet have signs upfront saying " smoking in Non smoking room fee $250"??? Makes no sense. Also i went up front and told them the first night we was there that the trash outside where people are smoking is overflowing and 4 days later the trash was in the same way but by then people had started sitting trash beside the trash can. Just a little heads up, other than that it was fine.

Does the job, but lacking a lot
First, I will say that the hotel was clean and quiet. However, we saw several issues that wete concerning. 1. The people checking in before us were told that a 3rd party reservation site had canceled their reservation. Despite there being rooms available, the desk agent made no effort to offer those rooms. (I realize the main issue is with the 3rd party booking, but it showed a lack of customer service on the agent's part). 2. There is no local TV service or cable. The only option is Hulu or signing in to your own Netflix/Amazon accounts. 3. The bed was 6 in. from the wall, but had 2 in. of bed frame sticking out. This caused us to crack our shins on them several times. 4. The smoke detector had no battery, there was no outlet cover on one outlet and the tub wasn't caulked where it meets the floor (tjis is hoing to cause water damage eventually) Bottom line, the hotel is affordable, and a safe place to sleep; but it's probably worth spending more for somewhere else.

Pool was closed, no breakfast, blanket and bedspread had burn holes on them. Had someone working on the side of the building hammering at 10:30 at night. The clerk acted like it would kill her to make another pot of coffee. When that's all they offered for breakfast.

The room was filthy. The sheets were dirty with hair on them. The shower and toilet had dog hair as well. I asked for clean sheets and had to change the sheets myself. Manager was not present to talk to.

The service for check-in and fixing the TV connection in my room by the overworked staff was superb/exceptionally good. There was no free coffee nor free snacks for breakfast. I paid over $130 for the room, yet the Motel 6 illuminated sign outside said $89.99. I feel screwed by Expedia and will NEVER EVER use it again. The worst hotel item was I had a non-smoking room but my room was always filled with neighbors current smoke from smoking. The ventilation system does not prevent neighbors room's smoke from entering my room CONTINUOUSLY until late at night and then again early in the morning. A truly disappointing experience overall.
