"This is a classic old inn with lots of character, right in the center of the old town. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is a very good full breakfast with lots of options. Only one suggestion: the coffee at breakfast is just powdered Nescafe, which is pretty bad. The owners would do well do invest in a real coffee machine. But maybe they don't much call for coffee and people moistly drink tea. "

"I’ve gone to Ireland over 30 times and This is one of my favorite of all time! The Cliffe Beauty and sophistication, comfort care beyond anything of the average… Especially in Donegal! I could not believe the cost of this place is the same as the hotel choices in the area. I stayed two days at the Abbey hotel and couldn’t stand a third. The Cliffe outdid everything and I will be back. After I tell everyone!! Thank you So so much!"

"The owner let us in showed us around the property and left. We didn't know that there were other guests as no one was there when we arrived. They obviously weren't happy about us being there we cold hear them through the walls arguing about us being there that we were gonna eat their food downstairs in the kitchen. It made for a stressful stay we couldn't wait to leave in the morning early! The house is lovely, but they were doing construction next door and they showed up early to move...
