And guess what? We're the closest ocean beach to Melbourne and only a short drive to Phillip Island, San Remo and Wonthaggi.

What's so special about our three-bedroom house? Well, where do we start? Our balconies, front and rear, are always ready to serve up some incredible ocean and countryside views. Can you picture breakfast on the rear balcony, looking out over the rolling hills? The suns sets are just something else as you watch the day come to an end as the sun disappears into the ocean from our front deck.

Fancy a walk? The George Bass Coastal Walk is right on our doorstep. And if you feel like going on a short drive, Phillip Island, with its cute penguins and stunning coastal scenery, is waiting for you.

Are you a foodie? We've got you covered. Just a short stroll away is the Killy Pub, ready to serve up delicious meals with a side of ocean view. And for your grocery needs or a quick organic bite, swing by the Kilcunda General Store / Cafe.

Evenings at Killy Views Beach House spell relaxation. Enjoy our entertainment offerings, including a SMART TV, DVD player, and a Bluetooth speaker. Our lounge is your cosy corner, complete with a wood-fired heater (wood provided), air conditioner, and plush seating.

Our well-equipped kitchen awaits your culinary experiments (we even have an air fryer!), while our front porch BBQ adds an al fresco dining experience. We welcome each booking with a complimentary bottle of wine.

Killy Views isn't just 'pet-friendly', it's 'pet-secure' too, with fencing around its spacious 1500m block.

Please note, entrance to the house is via an external staircase (12 steps).

Something about Killy Views makes you want to sit down, relax and just take in the surrounds. Balconies front and rear give both ocean and rolling country side views. Breakfast on the front balcony can only be experienced looking out over the ocean and surf beach – a new picture presents itself each day. Come evening the clear westerly view to the horizon allows unsurpassed views of ocean sunsets. Sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy. Both the master and second bedrooms have views of the country side, so what better way to relax, take a cup of tea and go back to bed and watch the cows grazing in the paddocks.

During the day, take a short 50m stroll to the safe swimming beach where you will find a sheltered sandy beach and dozens of rock pools. At low tide explore the rock pools for sea creatures and small fish. It’s a children’s paradise.

The George Bass coastal walk is right across the road and takes you to San Remo or Wonthaggi. The surf beach is also within walking distance and great for surfing and fishing.

200m up the road is the Killy Pub offering premium quality meals over looking the ocean. The Kilcunda General Store / Cafe next door to the Pub has basic grocery items, organic take away food and a dine in café.

The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has cedar lined cathedral ceilings with ocean and surf beach views. The lounge area has a free standing wood fired heater (wood supplied), split system air conditioner, SMART TV , a Bluetooth speaker, DVD player with a selection of DVD's . A leather three seater and two seater couch provide ample seating for everyone.

All of the three bedrooms are fully furnished. The master bedroom has a queen bed, SMART wall mounted TV. There is also a split system and ceiling fan.

In the second bedroom there is a double bed and a cooling ceiling fan and in the third, a single and double bunk combination.

Each bedroom also has an oil heater.

We supply all linen, please just BYO beach towels.

The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need to prepare and eat meals. Basic pantry items are also available. Along with the BBQ on the front porch, quality furnishings and plenty of chairs to lounge around both front and back, it is just the perfect getaway.

The property is also dog friendly with fencing all around the perimeter of the 1500m block. Perfect too for ball games! Both front and back balconies are also secure.

We try our best to accommodate early check ins and late check outs where possible, this is dependent on bookings however either side of dates booked. Please rest assured we will communicate when alternate times can be offered.

Kilcunda is the closest Ocean beach from Melbourne. A short drive to San Remo, Phiilip Island, Wonthaggi and the Bass Coast to Inverloch.

We are a short 50 meter walk to the beach, Ocean View Hotel for a great local pub and our famous Kilcunda General store for stunning local produce and wonderful breakfasts, lunches and coffee.

Most Melburnians know Phillip Island on Victoria's beautiful Bass Coast is a great place to holiday, but just 10 minutes from the Island is the hidden gem that is Kilcunda. At only an hour and a half from Melbourne's CBD, not only is Kilcunda a great holiday base it has a lot to offer in its own right.
