"Lovely area for a quiet time away , but not a lot in the area so if your looking to get to shops or any amenities there isn’t much about Rooms are very warm, rooms are not cleaned daily unless requested , when requested only the towels where replaced but no cleaning took place Shower not safe, partner was taking a shower and the railing came down on top of her mid shower , if was this a child or elderly could of led to serious injury. "Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal."

"The house is clean and spacious Comes with everything Stayed during a severe storm which took out the hydro but the owner had someone there to check but it was the local hydro who were quick to fix in the morning Other than that the stay is wonderful Must visit the Rusty Mackerel and the cliffs close by "

Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two...

"Lovely relaxing stay at Mill Park. Our third time staying there, staff very pleasant and helpful, particularly the two ladies who oversee the breakfast service. Have some convenient residents parking spaces close to the hotel and nice leisure facilities. Brilliant location, about 10 minutes walk to Donegal town and well situated for touring around."

Another incredible visit!

"Bill and I spent another incredible two weeks at Hilltown. The family connection is so important to us! We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. We are already looking forward to planning another visit back to Ireland!"

Quick winter visit to Donegal

"Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two out of the four bedrooms. All were lovely and we could easily have had two more couples along and no one would have felt like they got the bad bedroom. Views from the house are gorgeous. "
