"Just checked in a few hours ago and must say it’s one of the nicest hotels with the most helpful staff. We have stayed in numerous 5stars across Ireland and the rest of the world and trump doonbeg is definitely one of the best. Check in was done immediately by lovely gents at the gate and the facilities are top notch. Staff are excellent."

"Wonderful breakfast. Had Aoife for my massage at the spa and was wonderful . Some redecoration work happening on ground floor which did not impact our stay. Breakfast was 7-10, we kindly got a reminder call at 0930 that breakfast finishes at 10 - without it we would have missed breakfast. Nice efficient Brasserie - clearly popular with locals , so am glad we booked a table. Reception very helpful . One of our party decided to stay extra night , and negotiated a good rate. "I was met right away to check in. The clerk was most helpful with getting my bags up to my room. The bar downstairs gave me an opportunity to chat with the friendly locals. "The property was well presented, a little tired in areas but clean and comfortable. Some areas could do with improvement and basic fixings need replacing. TV’s weren’t connected up so we couldn’t watch tv, sky didn’t work. Netflix only option on main tv in living room. Little things that make a stay better could be easily and cheaply sorted.
