This affordable one-room studio efficiency unit with king bed is a tropical retreat that has been stylishly remodeled with granite counters and walk-in shower. The unit is equipped with a convenience mini-kitchenette (mini-fridge with separate freezer compartment, coffeemaker, toaster, and microwave, NO stove/oven), large flatscreen TV, and private lanai (patio). Contemporary island-style furnishings and artwork throughout.

The complex has free parking and fantastic sandy Kamaole II Beach is just across the street from the Maui Banyan. Snorkeling, sailing, and dozens of other activities are all nearby. Walk to a great selection of shops and dining options. On-property amenities include two swimming pools, jet spas, complimentary tennis court, gas BBQs, and putting green!

Our units are upgraded, comfortable and clean. We also supply thoughtful extras to help make your stay on Maui as enjoyable as possible:

We loved our stay here! Everything was just as depicted in the pictures and description- Misty was very accesible and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again in any future trips to Maui!

Perfect Condo for Us!
My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo in late September/early October. Even though it is on the small side it was perfect for the two of us! It is well appointed with everything you need! Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Location was great and parking was easy. We appreciated the great communication from the owner and easy check in and out. Beautiful, peaceful view from the balcony! Would love to stay there again!

Location is great. View of the water is better than I expected from one of the further back buildings (Q) in property. Everything else is exactly like the posting, no surprises, bed mattress was good enough for us.

This property was very small, but served us well. It was pretty noisy, but we were able to balance that with beautiful views, nice pools, great location, and decent accommodations. Parking was a regular challenge, but hey- you're in Maui so no complaints really :)

Very safe and clean. nice view from lanai. walls little thin can hear neighbor talking when quiet. But love location and nice touches like the chocolates! Bummer it was raining on my short stay didn’t get to the beach but love there were chair, towels etc to enjoy the beach right across the way.

Magical Week in Maui
The location was perfect, parking was easy and convenient, and even checking in at 11 pm we had zero issues. Watching sunrise and sunset from the balcony was just beautiful, there’s an amazing view. No noise from the Kihei road, and so walkable to tons of amazing spots (check out Kihei café). We stayed 10 days, and the beds were very comfy. I really appreciated how many towels they provided so we weren’t using the same ones through our entire stay. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need! Loved our time there, would stay again whenever we’re lucky enough to come back. Pro tip: make sure to visit during whale season!!!

Vacation in Maui at the Banyan Condos
Stayed for about 2 weeks. Price was reasonable. Room had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Location is along the Kihei strip in Maui and is close to everything convenient and plenty of restaurants and shopping. Along with being a beautiful area in general . Pros: clean, nice property, nice room, perfect for 2 people that are fine sharing a bed. Location had nice amenities, swimming pools, balcony with nice overlook. Cons: This particular room didn’t have a full size kitchen just microwave and sink . We were fine with this as it was advertised that way. There was no way to laundry in unit. Had to use a laundromat. Overall a good experience and would stay again.

Such a wonderful location to enjoy the all of Maui. The unit was comfortable and the AC worked great. Gorgeous views over the trees/gardens with a sliver of ocean visible at the edge. We used the beach chairs and umbrella that was provided- brilliant idea of a backpack style beach chair with pockets!!! Boogie boards were also provided and so much fun. We had no issues at all carrying them to the beach from the unit. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants, coffee shops and shopping! All the possible rentals of snorkel, e-bike, scooters, UPS boards, etc were just a walk down the street. Even more cute shops and restaurants about a 5 minute car ride to the north. Quick 20 minute car ride to the airport, 45 minutes to Lahaina. We did it all! Easy and gorgeous views all around! The road to Hana starting point is also about 15 minutes away. It was just perfect!! Thank you a wonderful vacation! Mahalo!

We don’t ever leave negative reviews unless our stay was significantly impacted. We saw many reviews about this VRBO listing praising its cleanliness, however The initial appearance of cleanliness is deceptive. Our stay at this VRBO property revealed several issues that need attention. Unfortunately, we encountered a roach infestation, which interrupted our trip and comfort. To protect our belongings and food, we had to store them in plastic bags. The beach umbrella was non-functional due to damage, and the apartment displayed clear signs of wear and tear. Despite the property's positive ratings and the host's kindness and responsiveness, our stay was uncomfortable. We were seeking relaxation during our vacation, but regrettably, it was challenging to find in this accommodation.

Perfect space and location!
This condo was perfect for the two of us for our 5 night stay. The condo was very clean and even better than pictured. It was well equipped woth towels and beach chairs, dishes, a refrigerator, hair dryer, iron and even a small cooler. The bed was so comfortable and this condo had a beautiful shower and granite counter tops. There was a TV which we enjoyed for windong down at night. There was very detailed communication amd we uad zero issues prior to or during our stay. The beach was literally across the street and we saw many whales breaching with views of Lanai and Molokini Crater. There were outstanding restaurants and shopping and even a grocery store and drug store near by. Several gorgeous beaches just down the road and a quivk drive to Haleakala. You can actually see the summit from the parking structure at the condo! The pool was nice and I would highly recommend this property. No need for an alarm, as the chickens may wake you up and the fan was a bit noisy. We turned it off and used the air at night, so this was a simple fix. I would definitely choose this property over any other and loved it so much! Thanks for the amazing chocolates and munchies to welcome us! We are so grateful for the amazimg accompdation

This place is wonderful!!!!
We were not able to extend our trip another day at this location and stayed at a hotel. The hotel was so gross! We then arrived to our suite here and was totally blown away. It was so clean and neatly organized. Perfect for my partner and I! We loved the location as Kihei is our favorite place to stay. The building was well maintained and the guests around were thoughtful of their noise. The view from the porch made every stress memory, float away! It was a true vacation. Chocolates on the pillow and all! It was the special touches that mace it for me. Especially having a vacuum for our sandy feet! The amenities were so helpful, especially the full sized GOOD shampoo and conditioner. I hate the travel sized hotel stuff! Any communication with the property owner was quickly responded to and was very polite. I appreciate the opportunity to stay in such a awesome place. We have visited Maui Banyan many time. I was a bit taken aback by the unmentioned “Host Fee”. The unit was exactly as expected except for the fact that the patio door curtains were more than difficult to use without the proper hardware. The patio door itself was another level of difficulty.
