Beautiful BEACH FRONT townhouse on Sugar Beach. 'Maalaea Surf is one of Maui's best kept secrets.' Spaciously spread over 5 acres of tropical gardens, Maalaea Surf sits directly on a beautiful white sandy beach which stretches for 5 miles. Beautiful sunsets and seasonal whale watching from the ocean front lanai. The secluded privacy of Maalaea Surf offers a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot while centrally located to Wailea (10min.), the airport (20min.) and Lahaina (35min.).

Unit H-6 is a two bedroom, two bathroom two-story unit, with vaulted ceilings, that is immaculately maintained and well equipped with all of the comforts of home. This second floor townhouse offers security and privacy while maintaining easy and open access to the beach and views.

Wonderful View
Property is a little dated but location and view more than make up for that drawback. You'd be hard pressed to get any closer to the water. Pool was an added bonus. Kitchen was well equiped with everything you would need to cook meals. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here

Location, location, location. Well positioned, truly ocean-front on Sugar Beach near Kihei. Great beach walking, shops and restaurants nearby. Great privacy with bedrooms on different levels. Simple but practical furnishings. Amazing lanai. Highly recommend this property.

Property was as advertised. Reviews on the property were accurate. Sugar beach is wonderful and much less crowded when we stayed in April, started getting busier later in our stay. We would highly recommend for a nice vacation.

Beachfront beautiful Maui sunsets from the lanai!!!
This property was much better than expected. It is a very peaceful complex, immaculately manicured with oceanfront refreshing big pool. There is an ABC store, delicious bakery and shave ice place just a short walk down the beach and across the road. We were two couples that thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Susan our host was very good at communicating with us before and during our stay.

Rental is as picture right on beach. Spacious enough for our family of 5, clean, comfortable and safe. Property is located in a nice, small complex with wonderful pools. Home is well stocked. Would stay here again!

The location of this property was amazing. Right on the water. We really enjoyed seeing the whales everyday. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice having the beach chairs and the cooler. I would definitely rent this property again. Our family had a wonderful time here!

Perfectly lovely place
The townhouse is smack dab on the Pacific Ocean. I could hear the waves with all doors closed- so soothing. We wanted for nothing. The house had plenty of everything we needed.

Beautiful view of ocean. Great place to stay had all the basics. There was some construction going on below us daily with noise but no ones fault. Low key and chill at the resort. Would definitely recommend is centrally located and close to restaurants and local shopping.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. Immaculately maintained. The condo is beautiful and the best equipped vacation rental that we have ever stayed in. The balcony is so close to the beach. The large beautiful pool, tennis court and beach path are right around the corner from your door.

This property has all that you need beach chairs plenty of towels extra clean which is super important sit on the deck and watch the beach walking down to the beach go to the swimming pool laundry rooms are in each separate pod unit Groceries and pastries are just a little short walk up to the beach he can also drive it but walking doesn’t take very long. You’re located around nice restaurants.

Kihei stay
Just back from our stay here. Very nice location, residence is as described, beach and evening views are exceptional. We have a family of 5 so my daughters shared upstairs bed and my son took the other bed but we knew this going in. Kihei is centrally located so this is a nice hub. Parking lot to the townshouse is a little bit of a lug so be prepared when you get your groceries. Grounds are very nicely kept. Minor suggestions for owners are to have all the knives in the place sharpened (dangerously dull) and a few new pillows would be good on main bed. Everything else was well stocked and great and we appreciated the beach chairs! By the way...added benefit is seeing whales off in the distance.

I cannot rate this condo or services high enough! The condo and location were absolute perfection, so much more than I imagined! The property was absolutely stunning and all the extra amenities provided were just so thoughtful and perfect and icing on the cake! Communication was amazing and so quick, we cannot wait to be lucky enough to come back to stay here. I wanted to be on the beach, you absolutely will be! I felt like we had our own private beach right outside our door, we walked the beach every day and were so thankful for the complimentary beach chairs that we had access to! Just perfection and cannot wait to come back!

Perfect Kihei condo
We were a family of 5 on Spring Break on Maui and this condo offered everything we needed. Master on bottom, kids up in loft, lanai. out front with expansive ocean views. Condo was well stocked with all the beach gear & cooking supplies we needed. Great location with easy access to go exploring. Only issue was T.V. in living room didn't work properly, but that just gave us a great excuse to tell the kids we couldn't watch TV!

Best visit to Maui to date!
My family and I have visited Maui several times and we usually stay in hotels. This is by far the best place to stay. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for a meal. We even popped popcorn one night. The bathrooms are well stocked with shampoos, conditioners and body gel with tons of towels. There are even beach chairs, towels and other beach and pool essentials. Owner was super nice and responsive. Bakery, shave ice and an ABC store within walking distance. Lots of restaurants to choose from within a few minutes drive. Plenty of parking in a very nice and quiet complex. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful property right on the Ocean
The property is great and no complaints whatsoever but we didn't get wifi details for 2 days until we talked to the house keeping / maintenance lady as the property manager is not tech savvy. That did create quite a bit of frustration as we had to use hotspot to work. As for the property you can hear the waves and its on a beach that you can walk for miles. The view is amazing. That's the best part. It's old property but everything works.

Sunsets and Whales
A friend and I decided to meet in Maui for a short break - I came in from Denver and her from California. Every day was perfect. We saw whales every day and the sunsets from this beautiful home can't be beat! Kihei is a wonderful location from which to base yourself - plenty of amenities nearby (grocery stores, restaurants etc.). The beach out front was gentle for swimming, the pool was wonderful for relaxing. This home is thoughtfully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay! I love ocean waves so I slept in the loft - my friend is more sensitive to noise and she stayed in the bedroom, which was furthest from the beach. The other guests staying were delightful - many return here year after year and I can understand why! If I make my way back to Maui, I'll definitely book this place again.

Amazing property and location!
In a word, this place is amazing! We stayed here for 8 nights with two adults and three children and could not have been happier. The unit was nice, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything necessary to make it your home while in Maui. Having the master bedroom on the main floor and second bedroom in a loft was optimal for us to provide a little separation between the parents and kids. The second-floor location was great because we felt safe leaving the windows open all the time. That it is a beachfront unit is icing on the cake and well worth the additional cost. The grounds of the Maalaea Surf Resort are beautiful, impeccably maintained, and a nice size so as to be quiet but still offer some basic services (including nice gas grills). If you want onsite restaurants, lots of activities, and large pools with waterslides and such, this is not the place for you. My kids and I loved playing shuffleboard right next to the beach. Most times, we had beautiful Sugar Beach to ourselves. The swimming is great with a nice gradual, sandy bottom. The location between Kihei and Maalaea is our favorite because it is close to everything and provides the warmest and driest weather on the island. There is a good bakery (the malasadas are not to be missed!), Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice (delicious - best on the island!), farmers’ market, a convenience store, and a gift shop just a very short walk down the beach and across the road. The only thing of which to be aware is that it is windy, which was fine for us because we enjoyed the surf, both while swimming (body-surfing and boogie-boarding) and while in the condo (listening to the waves). We never ran the AC, because the nice breeze flowed through the unit with the windows open...and the sound of the waves on the beach is heavenly! The owner is pleasant and easy to deal with, and was always responsive, both before and after our booking. She even accommodated a late departure for us, which made our last day so much more enjoyable. If you are considering this property, book it now! When we return to Maui, we will absolutely look first to stay here again. Highly recommended!
