This wonderful small unique north Kihei condo complex is made up 6 delightful condos, private and peaceful. The Hale Wailana is located across from the 4 mile beautiful white sandy beach "sugar beach". This is pleasant for jogging, beautiful sunsets, and amazing for whale watching. A beautiful, sparkling pool is offered for some R&R at the complex. You are approximately 7 minute drive from the Ma'alea Harbor, and all of Kihei Town. While touring the Island keep The Maui Ocean Center in mind, you will see the mesmerizing marine life that the Islands strive from. There are many things to do on Maui and you will be in convenient location to it all, and still have the benefits of a small complex.

This 2b/2b condo will accommodate up to 5-6 guests comfortably with the size. A queen bed in the master room, queen in guest, and queen sofa sleeper will offer a dreamy night in Paradise. You will have the luxury of a full equipped kitchen, in unit washer/dryer, all linens/towels provided, A/C in both living and master bedroom, as well as T/V's for chilling in the condo. Beach items are provided for days of fun in the sun!

South Maui's famous beaches are only 4 miles from this condo, groceries are 2 miles, shopping 2-4 miles, dining 2-4 miles, and much more to see as you explore the great town Kihei town. As you travel into Wailea, it is home of exquisite resorts, golf courses and some of the best snorkeling/diving spots. Your stay at the hale Wailana will not only be quiet and relaxing, you will be in convenient location to the airport, Haleakala, Hana, Lahaina and all other areas that you will want to experience on island. Exactly as described! There were also several beach items were able to use including sand toys, beach chairs, and snorkel equipment. Would recommend this to everyone coming to visit Kihei!

Last minute family getaway

The condo is in a great location in Kihei. You can expect the standard/basic amenities, nothing fancy, small complex, parking next to the unit, beach is across the street, close to airport, etc. Lodging in Maui can be very expensive and this unit is definitely an affordable option

Perfect vacation spot

Hadn’t been to Kihei. Perfect spot for a relaxing, homey, beach vacation, steps from the beach and there is a pool as well. Walking distance (or short drive) to the best farmers market (you need to meet Wayne) Sugar Beach Bakery, and so much more. Well appointed kitchen if you like to eat in some. Super comfy if that’s your style. We would go back.

Great location on Maui

The condo came with all amenities as expected. The manager was responsive for a maintenance request. We had plenty of space for our group of 3 people. There are pleasant views from the patio of surrounding condos, pools, and a small view of the ocean.

Cute and close to beach

My husband ,Mother in law 2kids (15&8) and myself stayed in this cute condo it was perfect to watch the sun set and rise! The condo was clean and has pots pans dishes so we made dinners at the condo.The beach is across the street so we walked over every evening.I totally will tell friends and family about the condo and recommend it the couch is comfy( it is a little out dated as people put in the reviews) but it isnt ripped or dirty and the sleeper sofa was comfy!

What you see is what you get-wonderful customer service

The property was mostly clean, beds were comfy. Kathy was very efficient in dealing with minor issues. There was wifi and tv. Couch needs to be replaced and cushions need to be cleaned.

Family on a budget.

Easy to find location. Great directions given by property management. Parking area is somewhat tight but do able. Small outdoor pool was enjoyed by the kids. Appreciated having some old lawn chairs to use. Kids enjoyed the boogie board that was there to use. All kitchen appliances and utensils that were needed were available. Appreciated the few steps away from the beach on days we didn’t want to drive anywheres. Quiet condo complex. A/c units good. Seafood restaurant next door - Isana. Overall great location for travellers on a budget that don’t need all the fancy stuff.

First trip to Hawaii

We had a nice stay. Pool and property were kept nice. Clean, just some hand and foot marks on walls of bedroom that were missed. The jet tub could use some scrubbing. Would not reccomend using as a bath tub, only shower. Useful items were available to us, pool toys, etc. The one bedroom has only a fan. I feel it would be beneficail to have a portable A/C if possible. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The two most important things I look for are cleanliness and comfortable beds. This place had both. It isn’t anything fancy, maybe a touch outdated, but if you don’t mind that, you should be happy. The kitchen has pretty much all you need. The location is decent, right by the ocean and in a quiet part of Kihei, but for swimming and playing there are much better beaches elsewhere. Big beach was one of our favorites and just 10 min south. The property management was very responsive. Fridge and freezer weren’t cooling sufficiently when we first got here, but I called and they were promptly over and fixed it while we were out on an excursion. Thanks for letting us stay!

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great for beaches and seeing the island. The condo was quiet and spacious. We loved that the host had snorkeling gear, a cooler, and beach towels (and an umbrella) to use while there. It didn’t have air conditioning, but the condo got a great breeze with the windows open, and we didn’t need AC. Although the pool is not heated, it was also warm and nice. Our kids spent at least an hour swim every day. The condo also had walking access to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with many appliances and spices, which made it easy to cook some meals at home. The beds were comfortable. I really only have positive things to say about this place! The hosts put a lot of thought into making sure it was stocked with everything you could need, and we really felt like we were at home there. It looks like it’s been recently renovated with nice flooring and updated countertops in the kitchen. It was helpful to have drying racks and a washer/ dryer there. I highly recommend this condo. If we take another trip to The Big Island, I would absolutely want to stay here again!!

Great location short drive to Wailea, Lahaina and beaches.

This is an older property poorly maintained.Filthy window sills, mold & rust air conditioner (only one bedroom with a/c). Furniture so old & used it is shiney with sleek oil feel. Master bedroom bathtub is big, but brownish filth. Bugs bugs bugs, 3 inch roaches, and roaches of every size. The toilet tank runs and the tank lid has to be lifted to make it flush, then you see thousands of roaches. I called the manager Cathy upon checkout since we couldn’t figure out how to lock the keys- I reported these findings- she seemed clueless, no apology or refund offered. Do not recommend! Partial window view of ocean if you twist your neck. Do not rent!

Roaches, poor communication, and money extraction

First night we came back after dinner to 15-20 roaches in the kitchen/bathrooms. Killed all we could find and notified owner, asking for a follow-up with what they would do. With no response and a consistent 3-5 roaches a day (which we would kill) we reached out again midway through our 8 day stay. The owner said she provided two bottles for us to spray OURSELVES and "sprayed"..... Obviously their treatment was ineffective and their lack of communication was concerning considering the level of infestation. To add insult to injury, they charged us an additional 150 dollars for "smoking inside", something we did not do. Avoid!!!
