Maui Vista #2-411 is located in Kihei, just across the street from popular Charley Young Beach and 2.8 miles from Wailea Beach. The ocean view from this condo is beautiful and the complex features an outdoor pool area and a tennis court! Building two is well-situated - off the main road, but still great proximity to the beach. The fourth floor (top floor) provides a great vantage point to see the ocean and a chance to experience the refreshing tradewinds. Enjoy the view from the lanai while sipping your morning coffee! The kitchen has upgraded slide-out shelving in the lower cabinets, a ceiling fan, and a larger refrigerator, made possible by the removal of a room-darkening wall. The primary bedroom supplies a queen bed and a ceiling fan and the main floor bathroom includes a shower/tub combo. The guest bedroom is a loft with two twin beds that are convertible to a king bed, and the en suite is equipped with a shower. The living room features a queen sofa bed and a television so you can relax and watch sports or your favorite show. For your outdoor enjoyment, Maui Vista #2-411 supplies beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and sand toys as well as many books to choose from.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

Maui Vista is a lovely condo complex (not hotel) located across the street from the famous Kamaole Beach and is 100 yards from Charley Young Beach. Enjoy miles of sandy beach, snorkeling, surfing and stand-up paddle boarding a short walk away. These beaches have life guards, showers, picnic areas and restrooms.
The Maui Vista Complex features lovely tropically landscaped grounds, 3 on-site saltwater swimming pools, all pools are available to all guests. 6 free newly resurfaced championship tennis courts, with 3 newly striped pickle ball courts, and gas grills for your use. Great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is in a great location. It's right across the street from one of the nicest beaches in the Kihei area. It is dated, so don't expect anything fancy, but it did the trick. The condo complex grounds are lovely. The pools are very nice, too.

Wonderful Maui location
My family spent 3 nights here. It was a great little place and the kids enjoyed staying in the loft upstairs. We walked across the street to the beach and also walked to the yummy food trucks.

We had a great experience to stay here. Everything are clean and comfortable. There are tennis rackets and balls, stuffs for snorkeling, and so on in the room. We enjoyed things with them.

Very enjoyable stay
Everything was clean and well maintained throughout the unit and the whole property. All communications with the property owner were detailed and easy to understand. The location and view were great. The selection of beach and water sports equipment supplied in the unit was much appreciated. We had 6 people in our group which was the max for the unit and it was a little tight but we all had a great time.

The condo was clean and comfortable, and perfectly suited to our family of four. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer were wonderful. We did not lack for any amenities, and it was nice to be able to set out for a beach day with beach towels, a small cooler, and a beach chair (more than one would have been nice), which were all provided. There was construction going on at an adjacent property, as well as on the street in front of the complex, but it was barely noticeable from this unit, which was nice and quiet. The location of this condo is excellent, as it is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and small shops.

4th floor, good location, nice loft
We enjoyed our stay at the Maui Vista in December for Christmas! The complex is located across the street from a beautiful beach and there are partial ocean views from the small lanai. The loft with two twin beds worked very well for our two college-age sons. We also appreciated the tall ceilings and many ceiling fans. We would have appreciated a few more supplies, such as extra toilet paper and paper towels, and the kitchen could use a better supply of dishes and utensils. But overall, this is a great condo for a family of 4 or couple. We hope to go back!

Nice location!
This unit was great for our family. The location was awesome! However, the unit was very dusty and I had to spend time cleaning fans as I did not want to blow chunks of dust all over. I also didn’t realize there is only an A/C in the living room, not main bedroom so we needed to station a fan in the hallway to bring cool air back which definitely helped. The kitchen had all needed items to cook meals throughout our trip. The beach chairs, toys and boogie boards were great! They do need to invest in a deep clean to get major dust from the ceiling fans, ceiling beams, etc. it was not acceptable in our opinion.

Great Location and Amenities
Stayed there as a family of 4 so the loft was great for the kids. Beach chairs, towels, coolers were provided. Kitchen was complete with pots and pans, plenty of glassware and even had a rice cooker! Pool is extremely small so kids (preteen/teen) were not impressed. I think the only thing we struggled with was the air conditioning which had to run constantly to keep up with the loft and back bedroom... But they provided lots of fans so we finally figured out to set up a box fan in the hallway to blow air back to the bedroom to cool it enough so we could sleep.

Good vacation unit,some room for improvements
Overall positive feelings, great location, great ocean views, everything in Okay working order. Key word is "Okay " its not excellent or above "Okay ".Reasons for it not adequate quality mattress of master bedroom, where me and my wife rolled to the middle of the mattress without any effort from our side.Also unit needs some updates for old furniture, 1980 style of ceramic tiles and hard to keep closed kitchen cabinets doors and washer and dryer enclosure doors. Unit only has only one decent quality beach chair would be nice to have second one .Maui Overall became very expensive after Covid and looks like demand overcoming supply. So local governments working hard to introduce new fees and new taxes to take advantage of the situation. State park beaches they charging insane parking fees and only from tourists, locals excluded. So I personally wiill reduce their pain from my side and will go somewhere else next time ( my fifth time on the island)

We have stayed at this complex 2 other times once in 1998 and another in 2003. Great location and easy check in and instructions. Condo is a little run down but provided us with everything we needed and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

It is very unfortunate that I have to write a terrible and very disappointing review with this rental unit.  This was rated as "Excellent" on Vrbo website. The place was "Terrible" conditions;  carpet, furniture were old, especially the carpet was disgusting, appliances (stove, kitchen counter, freezer) chipped and the freezer was full of rust).  The light fixtures, doors and fans were full of years of accumulation of dust. Two of the night stands are broken (light bulb is off of its socket and the connecting wire was exposed - was dangerous.)   We could have settled as long as it was clean........, unfortunately, it was not the case.  At night, we found that both the bathtub (downstairs) and shower (upstairs) were both stained and dirty, and the vanity was infested with ants, the bedding was furnished the cheapest quality sheets, pillows, bed-spreads with a lot of wrinkled (it looked someone was sleeping on it for weeks, and not sure if they were washed before our arrival.)The property was simply mis-managed.  After all, we came to Hawaii to enjoy the paradise of the Island, this is our vacation to relax and enjoy it.  This place was just taking away all of our joy - we decided to check out after one night and found another place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros - nice view, good for a family with kids. Lots of beach amenities so you don't have to buy or bring your own. We love being across from Charley Young beach park. Cons - The unit could use a total refresh. There's carpet throughout the main living areas which is strange and feels dirty in a sandy environment. As others described, the unit feels unclean but mainly because it's very old. I suspect there haven't been any major fixes/updates to it in decades. The kitchen is galley style and extremely small, especially for a family trying to prepare meals. Odd - the TV lost connection to the internet (and would not reconnect) two nights in a row at the same time. Emails to the property manager were not answers. Overall - decent but I'd find a different unit next time.

The location of the condo is fantastic, and the view is beautiful. Property management was fantastic - we had a couple of things come up (a leaky faucet that needed replacing, a broken shower head and some very noisy neighbors) and they were amazing about all of it! The faucet and shower head were fixed immediately and they were helpful about the neighbors. The setup of the condo is great, we have two teens and they each had their own bed, a separate bathroom and space to hang out and my husband and I had our own space as well. Parking was close to the unit, check in was easy, even though we got in after hours it was no big deal. We liked the pool, although not huge it was never crowded and we loved the fact that it was salt water and not chlorine (my son has a severe chlorine allergy so this was a huge bonus!) The beach across the street is great and we really appreciated the beach chairs, noodles, boogie boards, coolers and umbrella! The only reason for the lesser rating is that unit really is dated and was not super clean. Part of that is due to its age, some things are as clean as they are going to get I guess but there were other things that were just not done. For this reason, I would definitely rent from the management group again but not this particular unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have used this company on several occasions for my rentals and absolutely love them. I have also stayed at another Maui Vista property and chose this one because of the location. Everything was great, rental company exceeded expectations as always. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. Door jambs were dirty, it was dusty, a few spots on the walls and bathroom rugs. I know they had just had storms prior to our arrival and wind and sand aren’t friends so I just dealt with it and we cleaned what we could. View from the lanai was perfect for whale watching (with a pair of binoculars).
