Hidden Gem exceeded expectations
This property has an amazing location, hassle free check in/check out, separated from beach by a park and Pickelball courts. The condo had everything we needed and the onsite RA helped get us laundry detergent when we asked. Our unit had no AC which for our visit in mid Feb was just fine. I’m telling all my friends to stay here!

The location in Kihei is convenient. The swimming pool has 4 grills, which was great for cooking our dinners. The kitchen was beautiful as well as the bathroom. My wife kept mentioning it, so I took notes. Bring your own toiletries, such as shampoo. They do provide soap.

This is not the hotel you want to spend time on. I was feeling like staying in an old apartment. Room is not the cleanest and all the furnitures are old. If you just need a place to sleeping only, this is the place for you. I have to point out that staffs are amazing! They do accommodate your needs and address your concerns.

Grounds are well maintained and property is very close to the beach. Staff is friendly. I liked having a private bedroom, living room and full kitchen. Room was clean and functional, but kitchen and bath were dated. It was quiet at night but noisy outside in the morning, making it hard to sleep in. I didn't pay the extra $25 a night for a room with AC, and there were a couple of days/nights when it was uncomfortably hot. I would recommend paying extra to get a room with AC.

Dislikes: Light on amenities in the unit, lacking some commonly used items (each unit differs depending on the owners), room was next to parking lot and was loud in the evening. Likes: Great accommodating staff, kid friendly inside and out, spacious unit, great price and descent location, excellent BBQ's, easy going atmosphere.

Nice property, convenient location, very hot.
This is a group of four buildings. The units available for rent are all owned by individuals, so reviews of this property will only pertain to one particular unit. Overall, this is a lovely property. Situated right on the ocean. The beach at the property itself is not the best, but other beaches are close by. There are tennis courts and a nice swimming pool. The property has a small kitchen area and a number of gas grills adjacent to the pool area for food preparation. We had a pleasant stay overall and would definitely return. Be aware that some units are equipped with air conditioning, and others are not. We visited Maui in November and we chose not to pay $25 extra per day for air conditioning because of the time of year. We found it to be extremely hot, however, and will gladly pay the extra fee the next time we visit.

We chose this property due to the excellent ratings in Expedia, and also the recommendation in Fodor's travel guide. We were aware that this property is a bit dated before we made the reservation. Based on the recommendations, we expected a clean, well equipped condo, convenient location and pro-active management. We got all that and more. Plus, the bonus was that this is a beachfront property with a secluded beach, where we could wade, swim, and enjoy quiet sunsets.

Original check in was a little confusing because we were put in the incorrect type of unit then assigned to a unit that was not acceptable to us. The next day the manager Leslie made arrangements to put us in a beautiful unit. We were very pleased that she responded to our concerns right away and the new unit was amazing. Keep in mind that these units are all individually owned and they are kept up to each owners standards. The first unit we stayed in was honestly a 1 out of 10, the next day we were moved into a 9 out of 10. Night and day, just make sure you know exactly what unit you are renting and take a look at the photos online. Leslie was very helpful and we would defiantly stay in D204 again. 2 bed 2 bath ocean view.

Great kitchen and essential beach supplies
Had an amazing time !! We stayed in room B-211 and it was great. The kitchen had nice upgraded appliances and everything you could possibly need to cook dinner a couple of nights. There were even beach chairs and a cooler in the closet. We definitely plan on staying here next year when we go back to Maui.

Parking was an issue, pool and hot tub were not clean, sauna was out of order, Our unit had a few issues with the bathroom and the entry door. There is no path to the beach so you need to walk across a wet marshy field of grass to get to it.

If you plan to stay at this property, make sure you check to be sure you know what you are booking and you get that room. I booked a Deluxe ocean view room and they gave me a standard one. Their website clearly states what rooms are deluxe and mine was clearly not. Then they said the website was wrong - Really?? They did give me a credit for the difference which was right but that was not the point. I didn't get what I asked for and nothing was said until I questioned it. AC is an extra cost per night and not in all rooms so be sure to ask. The other thing is, I had the 2 bedroom and there was no AC in the second bedroom. My ocean view turned out to be a great view of the fenced in tennis courts. Kitchen was awesome and do have washer/dryer.

The property itself was incredible. We have nothing but great things to say about the amenities and property itself. The staff were friendly, grounds were spotless and pool was well maintained!! We would definitely return to the property but not to the unit we were in (C 101). The layout of the unit and location was great for our family but the unit needs some serious TLC. I don’t think anything has been done to the unit since it was built; this also goes for the cooking appliances and Utensils. We would have hoped for the amount we were paying the unit was more modern and stocked a little better. Our trip was still great so you can imagine how the property and people made up for the less than ideal unit!
