Koa Resort 2 Bed Ground Floor Condo -Air Conditioning

A rare low-density complex (only 54 units) on 5 acres of lush well manicured grounds with the largest private heated pool on Maui and the ocean that awaits you across the street! Fully air conditioned! The complex boasts private tennis courts, open tropical grounds for kids and adults to stroll, ping pong, private parking, grills and wifi in the common cabana. Relax on our private ground floor lanai that makes the outside to inside blend together. Enjoy the full kitchen with custom cherry cabinetry, newly remodeled bathroom and furnishings give you a Wailea flair at a Kihei price! The ocean breeze flows back and forth through the front screened-door and the Lanai making this condo a comfortable climate where air-conditioning is unnecessary. However, we do have air for those guests who like it a bit cooler. We have recently upgraded to a ductless air conditioning system units in the main room as well as one in each bedroom.
Kihei/South Maui is known for its sun, amazing beaches and snorkeling. Enjoy the beach chairs,cooler and boogie boards our unit has to offer. this was an incredible condo. the a/c worked great. the kitchen was completely stocked with everything you need to cook. washer and dryer included. they even had a utility closet full of beach gear at your disposal so you don't have to rent. beach chairs, coolers, noodles, boogie boards, floaties, they had it all. when i return to maui some day in the future, i'm going to look up this property and hopefully they'll be available.

Everything was good but the check-in time was 4pm, which is late compared to most places (3pm), and the check-out time was 10am, which again was too early compared with most places (11am). It is understandable that the maids need time to clean and prepare for the next guests, but shortening the stay by an hour at the beginning and another hour at the end (compared with most rental accommodations) is not a fair practice.

Short but Sweet
What a great spot to stay for a trip with lots of family. Koa resort is a great little gem. It’s walking distance to the sea turtles, and the grounds are gorgeous. The condo was beautifully put together and clean and filled with everything we could have needed. We would definitely go back! That’s for a great getaway.

Wonderful place and facility
Condo is great and the grounds are amazing. Lots of space and amenities like tennis and pool and grounds were perfect for a family to relax and enjoy. Condo was very nice and easy to find everything. Host was responsive and even helped us add a night last minute. Very happy with our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Was a bit difficult to first find, but rental was tranquil. Cooked meals in the kitchen, shared them on the lanai, perused the little library, watched sunsets across the street at the sacred fishing pools. Great beaches close. Beautiful time.

Such a great retreat place
This condo was one of three we rented for our family stay. It was immaculate and tidy and set up so comfortably. We had everything we needed and more. close to the pool. Loved the extras like lawn chairs, coolers, umbrella and boogie board. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended.

The grounds were beautiful. The location of our unit was perfect. Close to parking and the pool. My daughters rented a 3 bedroom very close to my room, which was great. we were there to celebrate my wife Joan by scattering her ashes off the coast of Maui. It was a beautiful ceremony.

Best family vacation ever
This place is amazing.The condo is better than the pictures,everything you could possibly need is there. The pool is right out the back about thirty steps away from the lanai and was great for my 2 year old grand daughter as it started at just two feet deep with a lot of area for her to play in. It went up to 9 feet deep so it was great for my 6 year old grand son and adults. The owners are fantastic to deal with and the complex itself was awesome. We will definitely stay here again.

We walked in to the condo well after check-in time and the beds were recently slept in; no one had cleaned up the place. Contacted the local person and she headed right over and apologized, but we sat in the condo for well over an hour while she & her husband cleaned - very uncomfortable situation for all involved. Not the best way to start off our stay. If I could give a 0 for check in, I would.

The property is okay. Really dark at night in some places. The property we stayed at was dusty inside. Had cobwebs on the chandelier, kitchen cupboards and corners of the unit. One of the bedrooms had a musky smell. We had to turn on the a/c full blast so the smell would go away. The patio was messy and not clean. Wouldn’t stay in that unit again. Other than that it was close to town.

Perfect getaway!
Condo is perfect. Very easy to settle in and feel like home. Easy access to the back gate which leads to turtle beach, very close access to the pool. AC in all rooms, covered lanai with abundant wildlife. Bright green Geckos greet you every morning while you are on your outdoor area drinking coffee, lots of tropical birds, and even a pair of birds that come knock on the slider for good. This is definitely a tropical paradise. Everything we needed was included in the unit. Cookware, utensils, coffeemaker, instapot, towels, laundry, etc, etc…. We would definitely recommend this specific unit, and this complex. 1 block from the ocean, yet far enough from the hustle bustle to be quiet and relaxing. The ground are well taken care of and beautiful! Do yourself a favor and book NOW! This unit goes fast!

Property is nice,. Condo was ok. The bathroom is in desperate need of redoing. Grungy… kitchen was good fairly well equipped could us another large fry pan. Lots of extras chairs, floaties etc. lady who looks after cleaning etc is wonderful.. the first night or 2 the air conditioner leaked water onto the coffee table where my sons iPad was and ruined his I pad. Contacted owner they fixed the air conditioner that we had a large bowl under now. But never any offer or compensation for the iPad. We liked the area and the outdoor private space. Overall I would consider staying again. I stayed for 5 weeks.

Beautiful Condo
A stunning property with lush grounds, across the street from the ocean, a perfect tranquil location. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed and more, easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed at through VRBO. We enjoyed our visit so much that would stay again during our next trip to Maui. Which is the first time we all enjoyed a property enough to return to the same location. The upstairs neighbors were occasionally heard with heavy footsteps, sounded like children on stairs. Other than that, you will enjoy the patio hearing the chirping birds and crowing roosters more than anything else. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. The beach supply closet was wonderful ! The beds were so comfy , an inner spring mattress which is my personal favorite with plenty of pillows, towels and beach towels. The location is convenient to many restaurants, we enjoyed Da Kitchen and Coconuts Fish Cafe. The provided Maui guide books were so handy at picking out local snorkeling spots. We went to 4 spots, Maluaka beach, Po'olenalena beach, Honolua Bay -on West side - a Marine Life Conservation District, and Kapalua bay. All were amazing, best at early to morning. We look forward to exploring more of the island during our next visit.
