Best Unit/Location w/ Ocean View! Fully Renovated End-Unit!


This is a completely renovated (2018) 2-Bedroom END-unit (one enclosed bedroom and one loft bedroom) in Building 2 of the Maui Vista Condominium complex with a beautiful ocean view! Since it's an end unit, there is an extra window in the living room, and the bedroom window is on the side of the building rather than the main walkway (avoiding walkway noise). The loft bathroom and shower are much more comfortable than other units, as they were expanded in size.

There is a King Bed in the bedroom and a Queen Bed in the loft. In addition, a queen-sized pull-out sofa will accommodate additional guests in the living room.

The kitchen is stocked with all of the typical amenities, a new washer & dryer have been installed, and beach chairs/umbrella, boogie boards, and tennis rackets are available for use. In addition, we now have pickleball rackets for our new outlined pickleball courts!

The most amazing crystal-clear water & one of the most beautiful beaches (Charley Young/ Kamaole I) is located right across the street...a 2 minute walk. Turtles hang out at the rocky points on each end of the beach. Shopping and restaurants are in close proximity to both the north and to the south of the complex.

This unit is hard to beat, and is quite possibly the best unit at Maui Vista! Did I say Ocean View?

Great location
This condo is an a great location with easy access to beach and an easy walk to some restaurants and shopping. Kitchen had everything you need to cook some meals if you want to do so. Our only issue with the stay was with the neighbors who were consistently load every night - screaming and yelling until about 11pm each night. Otherwise our stay was great!

Maui Paradise
Maui Vista impressed us. We loved staying there with our family of six. This is a very clean, beautifully decorated and affordable condo. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of birds and beautiful flowers. The pools and tennis courts were convenient. All of the beach equipment was a plus! We loved the view from the lanai. We ate breakfast there every morning. We even saw some whales breech near the Molokini crater. The hosts have thought of everything you might need, and it was easy to make meals. We loved coming back every night to our home away from home. Very welcoming and we would love to stay again.

Owners sent very detailed instructions and information to make everything so easy and seamless. Great use of space that is modern, yet so warm. Plenty of supplies for our stay as well. Fully stocked with plates, glasses, bowls and silverware. Plenty of pots and pans with cooking implements as well. Beds are super comfortable and the unit is very clean and well kept. Air conditioning unit cools the unit comfortably along with ceiling fans. The view is spectacular and so close to the beach, shopping and eateries, including a food truck area! Family friendly and lovely for anyone staying in Kihei. Would definitely book again!!

Short, but pleasant visit
Maui Vista is a great location, close to everything. The unit was clean and comfortable. Bedroom AC was a bit loud, but after the initial cool down, the breeze and fans was enough. The new decor was was really nice. Everything was great for a family. Just a tip, the dryer doesn’t completely dry everything, but just hang up to air dry for a little bit and it works great, especially the towels.

Perfect Maui condo!
We have stayed in 5 different units in Maui Vista - Tim & Gretchen’s unit is by far the best one we’ve had the pleasure of using. Building 2 is the best location (away from the road noise) and the views of the ocean are exactly as advertised. You can have breakfast on the lanai while watching the boats in Molokini. The condo has everything you could possibly need for a beach outing. This is the first time we didn’t visit a rental shop for any beach gear. The of the beds were extremely comfortable. All in all, we hope we are able to stay here again! Mahalo!

Great view from balcony!
Our group (2 couples in our 50s) had a great stay at this condo. We really enjoyed the seating area on the lanai where we could see Molokini Crater and the island behind it. We also saw a few whales breaching and caught some great sunsets. There is a cute gecko that hangs out on the lanai- he does not seem bothered by people at all. The unit was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, everything well maintained. Quite a few restaurants in walking distance. Beach is a very short walk away. (We really enjoyed eating at Da Kitchen- short drive away, well worth the trip!) We only had 2.5 days on Maui (went to the 4 main islands this trip) and our focus was a whale watching/molokini crater tour and Haleakala sunrise. This condo was well located to do both.

Surreal Condo and community.
This was absolutely the best condo we have ever stayed at in our life’s. Very clean, quiet at night and super comfortable sleeping conditions. Me and my family had so much fun in Kihei. Charley’s beach was honestly the best beach for families on the island. There’s so many sea turtles and also starfish on this beach. Sunsets and sunrises were amazing from this condo. It was so surreal coming from New Mexico and seeing the beach for the first time in our lives. I got a really good deal for the nine days we spent in Maui. Also, within walking distance were some of the best restaurants featured on the food network and truly lived to the hype. We are so grateful to experience such a beautiful place.

Wonderful Property & Great Location
This Maui Vista unit is a great spot to make your home base. It is walking distance to beaches, meals and drinks. The unit offers top-notch views. We spent many hours on the lanai watching the sunsets. Everything is clean, lovely, and quiet. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms offer privacy. Towels are thick and thirsty. The kitchen is nicely outfitted - if you want to cook - easy to do. For questions, the hosts are quickly reachable. I would encourage those of you trying to decide between units, to select this one if you are looking for a unit to enhance your Hawaiian experience. 5* overall.

Cute condo, better for couples/adults
Condo Pros: -location is across the street from great beach -location is close to everything in Kihei -while pool is small, it was perfect for our family -no issue finding parking -having a washer and dryer was great, especially with kids -manager got back to us in a timely manner when we had problems getting the AC on upon check in -would be great for a couple or families with teenage children Cons: -condo was very stuffy/dusty and hot when we first got there -AC in bedroom didn’t work well to cool down the room, also said it needed to be cleaned when we “checked in” -dryer doesn’t work well, takes several times to actually dry clothes 100% -downstairs bedroom felt dusty -not the best for small children due to stairs, decor and not having any necessities such as pack and play, high chair etc.

Convenient and well maintained unit
We had a great stay here. The owner was extremely responsive to our emails and accommodating to our requests. The unit is well organized, well stocked, clean, recently updated, and easy to access. The TV, washing machine and dryer made it convenient with our two kids (ages 3 and 5). However, there is no bathtub if you need one for bathing very young kids. It's the perfect place to stay if you are planning on spending your vacation doing various outside activities since the condo complex doesn't have much to offer. It is on the older side and the pool is very small. The unit itself was in a great location, central to various destinations on the island, and close to Charlie Young beach. For access to the beach, you do need to cross a busy street. If you have a family with young kids with the need to carry multiple beach items, it's probably easier just to drive and park in the free parking lot. There are also great restaurants and food trucks nearby.

Perfect Place for Your Maui Adventure
We loved, loved, loved our stay at this condo! The owners were very responsive to our every question and were very interested in making sure the condo was just right for our stay. The best part of this condo is the location and the view. It is located right across the street from Charlie Young beach and is within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. It is the perfect spot to begin your exploration of the island as nothing is very far away. We were able to go snorkeling out of Maalea, parasailing out of Lahaina, drive the road to Hana, have dinner in Wailea, and hang out at the beach in Makena and the longest drive (other than the road to Hana) was 40 minutes with traffic. (If you want to do a luau, book it at least 1 to 2 months before your trip - we missed out by waiting). But the part we enjoyed most was the view from the lanai. I cannot say enough about the view! You can see the island of Lanai, Molikini Crater, and basically the entire coast line of this side of the island. The sunsets are INCREDIBLE! The condo is newly remodeled, roomy, well supplied, and beautifully decorated. Amenities in the condo include everything you could possibly need - washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, hair dryers in each bathroom, towels, beach umbrella and chairs, boogie boards and beach toys, tennis rackets, and even a great guidebook of the island. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, utensils, and all the small appliances you will need, including a blender! The beds are comfortable and the room air conditioners keep the temperature very comfortable. We had three people in our party and were very comfortable and able to have our own space. With the sofa sleeper, the condo will sleep up to 6 adults. I cannot say enough about this place and the owners - they both are fabulous! If you are going to Maui, this is the place to stay!
