You’re only a short walk from the beach and just across the street from the recreational Night Heron Park (700 yards away), where you'll find a playground, basketball courts, disc golf course, a nature center, soccer field, and some large grassy areas for picnics. Bike or walk on over 30 miles of nature trails that extend over the island, or visit downtown Charleston, an easy 25-mile drive away. If you want something similar but a little more local, take a trip to Freshfields Village (about two miles away) where you can explore cute boutiques, shop for local produce, and discover some Kiawah Island culture.

Condo was clean but had a musty smell. Also, we were given the incorrect code to get in so after a long day of travel it was frustrating not to be able to get into the condo when we arrived.

Great location! Kitchen well equipped Property needs a makeover!! Not inviting and sofa uncomfortable… bed only Queen thought should be king…. Needs a mirror other than just one in bathroom…. Not decorated fir a beach place.

Poor Quality, Great Neighborhood
This condo was outdated and subpar for the area. The couch and bed should not have been in use. If we were staying more than 2 nights we would have demanded another room. We have been coming to Kiawah for 15+ years and this is my first ever negative review. Would not recommend to anyone. We will not be staying again.

I have sent in three reviews and no one has said a word... bloody pillow and shower curtain, toadstool growing in the bathroom, dirt hanging from the kitchen ceiling, cockroaches, broken couch and broken bed. Poorly equipped kitchen. None if this is visible in the pictures.. Did not meet the standards we are used to when staying in Kiawah. Paid for a resort stay and basically got a Motel 6. Have requested a refund and have received no response from VRBO or VACASA.. Will not recommend this unit.. Still want my money back.

The condo is in a great location just steps from the beach but is in absolutely terrible condition. We could not sleep in the ancient bed. Old, creaky, sunken mattress with thin stained blankets. The couch is in equally poor shape. Not surprisingly, considering the age and condition of the unit, there is a VCR player!!! We left early after one sleepless night.

The property is very close to the beach, which is a huge plus. It is roomy enough for what it is, and good amenities. However, there are some maintenance issues that need addressing: musty smelling central air unit, the dishwasher is bolted in and can fall out, none of the remotes I tried had working batteries, the bed in master bedroom is very squeaky, the garbage disposal was stopped up pretty bad. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but it's obvious that this place is not overseen by anyone regularly.

Place for two only!
We had a food weekend because we enjoyed the race and our company. However, this rental was definitely lacking. It says it sleeps 4 adults but the bed in the bedroom is not very comfortable and the sleeper sofa seems to be an original from the 80's. Unbearably uncomfortable! My husband and I had to ge them to bring us an air mattress for the second night. Notice they don't have pics of the bathroom becaus it is tiny and has peeling paint on ceiling and walls. 4 adults and only 4 towels given, With 3 people running a race we certainly needed more. The location was good for our purpose and I enjoyed the back porch for reading. But could not/would not stay in those uncomfortable beds again.

Great price and location but needs updating.
Couldn't ask for a better location but the outdated furniture was extremely musty and a lot of the blankets and sheets were no better. We bought an air freshener the first day and it didn't put a dent into the smell. I get that it is by the ocean but we have stayed several other places that didn't have this issue. In addition it needs a new bed. The current one must be 20 years old and wasn't very good then let alone now. We did love the outdoor screened-in porch that overlooks a pond. Also the 4 minute walk to the beach was great. I can't imagine staying here again unless it gets a major overhaul.
