You’re only a short walk from the beach and just across the street from the recreational area, Night Heron Park (700 yards away) where you’ll find basketball courts, a nature center, disc golf course, soccer field, and some large grassy areas to enjoy some sunny picnics. Bike or walk on over 30 miles of paved nature trails that will take you across the island. Freshfields Village is only four miles away and boasts boutiques, grocery stores, and lots of great activities like live music, film screenings, and art exhibits. Bohicket Marina (only 5 miles away) offers local dining, chartered fishing boats, and all kinds of fun seasonal events. About 25-miles away, you'll find downtown Charleston where you can enjoy shopping, fine dining, and local history tours

Great condo by the beach
Everything was pretty much exactly like the listing showed. It was exactly what we needed and we had a very nice time staying so close to the beach! Walk to the beach and to Nest/Night Heron Park was even closer than expected. Thank you for a great trip!

This apartment was simple and comfortable. We wanted to be in a place we could relax and easily get to the beach. Walking distance from the beach, easy drive to shopping. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay on the island. The condo had a great location to the beach. It was clean but needs some TLC the bathroom needs to be totaly updated.

A Quick Get Away
We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a close walk to the beach, a pool and cafe. About .5 mile walk to The Sanctuary, which is a beautiful place to walk around and have a meal. We rented bikes near The Sanctuary and road for miles to enjoy the island. We definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again someday real soon!

Easy access to beach and nature center. Also a store and restaurant within easy walking distance. Quiet and great lagoon views. No laundry soap but some was delivered quickly after I called.

Simple Cozy Comfort
It was southern, easy comfort. I could live here year round. If you want simple and cozy, this is it. Everyone was friendly. Maintenance helped fast. It’s clean and such a quick walk to beach. Would recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to break the bank and needs simple comforts!!

Great location
The location was perfect for us. Easy access to beach, market and The Sanctuary. Only downside is the unit is outdated. Because of this, it seems a bit dirty. A simple bathroom upgrade of the tile and fixtures and kitchen cabinets would make the place so much more charming.

Cute little villa
We loved this villa. It was exactly what we needed for our trip. With that being said, the appliances are old, the tv doesn’t work well, and there are some stains on the couch, but we hardly spent any time inside so those things didn’t bother us too much. The villa was very clean and the fridge, ice maker, and washer and dryer work wonderfully. The one thing that was very annoying with this villa was how incredibly HARD you have to slam the door in order to make sure it is locked and closed fully. Otherwise, we would absolutely stay here again!

Great location - Unit needs an upgrade
The location is perfect, short walk (2-3 minutes) from the beach and Night Heron park. Unit was clean but is really dated (they have a tape deck and VHS video player!). Furnishings and kitchen from the 80s. This is my second experience with the property managers VACASA and I will look to avoid them in the future. The communication between their HQ and local agents is poor and you feel like they’re doing you a favor for even the simplest of requests.

Easy stroll to beach + right on bike path
Perfect for me and my husband to get away to the beach for the weekend. Easy walk to beach and there is a bathroom at the beginning of the boardwalk so super convenient. We took our own bikes and enjoyed riding on the paths and we even rode over to Sea Brook. Condo is basic, not fancy which was fine as we spent most of our time outdoors. We cooked dinner 3 nights and found the cookware to be sufficient. There are large pots to boil seafood and pasta. No condiments: take salt, oil, and coffee filters!

Great location
Hats off to the Cleaning Crew! This condo was spotless. Positives for this condo: Clean, A/C was nice and cool, water for showers hot, walls recently painted and best of all only 2 minute walk to the beach! That having been said, the condo could use some updating. I would venture to guess to the tub fixtures, bath vanity and kitchen counters are original from 1980..making them over 40 years old. The carpet could be updated as well. But all in all--comfortable and clean and close to the beach.

Comfortable, well thought out accomodations for two persons. Well equipped kitchen, and entertinment ctrs for bedroom and living room inhabitants. Nice, screened sitting area on porch with view of nature and bike path. Convenient to town center, beach and nature Center. Parking at door.

Great location, dated villa
This villa had a great location just steps from the beach and with a porch that overlooked the lagoon and bike path. Mariner's Watch is a really nice and attractive villa development. The Freshfields market area is close by too for food shopping and restaurants. The villa itself left a lot to be desired and the furniture and fixtures/appliances/shower/decorations need modernization. A positive was the porch, though old cobwebs were covered in dust up in the corners. We wished we had spent the extra $100 total for the four nights for the more updated villa. The kitchen and bathroom were particularly dated and weren't fully clean with a moldy inner shower curtain, mold on old and peeling-away caulk, some dishes with food stuck on them, and corners of the carpeting covered in dust. The pots and pans were so old that the teflon or interior finishes were so badly scratched and worn away we couldn't use some of them. The microwave was a cheap one that took way too long to heat food. The most disappointing thing was the king mattress in the bedroom. It was so incredibly firm and hard that the springs didn't move when we layed on it and it felt like sleeping on the floor. We are young and lightweight, and we tossed and turned every night from the discomfort of needing to relieve pressure points from laying on the mattress. Overall, this unit needs to be updated before being rented out again.
