Dog friendly Sparrow Pond Cottage

1041 Sparrow Pond cottage is a favorite vacation spot on Kiawah. Outfitted with all new furnishings throughout in November 2019, as well as new floors and newly painted exterior. Stay connected with free wifi. This cottage is ideal for families.

We will allow a dog with up to $200 damage deposit able to be charged up to 2 weeks after your vacation.

All Sparrow Pond Cottages are situated in West Beach Village, and in close proximity to many of Kiawah’s most treasured sights and activities. They are stand alone cottages.

Perfect Kiawah house!!
Not only was our stay amazing but the property manager was so helpful and accommodating! We fled from hurricane Helene and found this to be a home away from home. We have been staying in Kiawah for over a decade and this is our favorite spot!!

Amazing vacation
We loved our stay at the cottage. The cottage is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the beach. I recommend this cottage as it is also dog friendly and in great condition. I would also like to thank the property manager Susie Oringel, she was quick to respond to questions.

This is a nicely decorated house in very good condition. The location makes it easy to reach off island grocery and it is a short walk to beach. The screened porch was our favorite space for reading and hanging with sounds and smells of the outdoors. Great spot!

Great place only short walk to the beach.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is literally about a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Very nice and quiet neighborhood, and it's a stand-along place (no walls with neighbors). The place was clean and fully operational, as advertised. Also, great grill on the deck, loved the screened porch, and wonderful outdoor shower for after the beach. Highly recommend.

Perfect for our 2 week getaway!
This was our first time to come in February and bring our dog. The condo was very clean and in a great location! For being a dog-friendly condo it was really nice. Right by my favorite bike trail and close to the beach. The condo has what you’d need to cook on the grill or in the kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Loved sitting on the private deck on sunny afternoons. Thank you for a great trip!!

Great location only a few minutes to the beach via path. Safe & pleasant with a nice canopy of trees in the neighborhood. House has a small kitchen, washer/dryer, outdoor gas grill, a few beach chairs, and a little pull cart. No free bikes at this house but they are easily acquired from local rental services.

My primary concern is always cleanliness and I had no complaints about the cleanliness of this cottage. The property manager was amazingly responsive when we had one very minor issue (couldn’t find the hairdryer). I would definitely stay in this house again.

Perfect Pre-Christmas Last Minute Get-away
Great location in West Beach, quick to get in/out of guard gate for groceries and shopping at Fresh Fields. Also is an ideal location if your a beach lover, it's a 4-minute walk to the beach from the cottage. There is everything needed in the kitchen and the dishes/silverware are relatively in new condition and highly organized. The cottage was clean which was a relief during Covid as this was a last minute get-away to a private island and easy to social distance. I would recommend this cottage property as it is also dog friendly AND in great condition. I would also like to thank the property manager Susie Oringel, she was quick to respond to any questions.

Lovely location
We really enjoyed our stay here! The property manager was very responsive. I asked a question and pantry supplies and was told nothing was provided… and I mean nothing. Be prepared to pack up your spices, baking supplies, salt/pepper. That is my only criticism. Was inconvenient cooking but luckily I knew that ahead of time because I asked. Also, bring your own hand soap for bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Location was great and it’s a cute little space for one family.

The location of property was great, and the owner was very responsive, and quick to take care of a minor problem. But the place was not clean, the dishes were dirty and had to run them through the dishwasher before we used them. You could tell there were nose prints and hand prints all over the sliding glass doors. The out door furniture was very dirty, we had to clean that off before we used them. Also the one bathroom had hair in the tub. Its not the owners fault because she is relying on a trust worthy person ti keep the rental clean, just take Lysol wipes with you and Lysol spray and check out the dishes before you use them!
