You will LOVE this cottage!! It was recently featured in Charleston Home & Design!!

Complete Renovation and all new furniture! Every comfort is provided by the owners. Gourmet Kitchen with Island. Master Bath Suite, 2nd Bath complete renovation. All new floors, appliances, furniture, new front deck/porch featuring, new large, outdoor shower.

It is right on the Night Heron Park with the Night Heron pool, complex, Kamp Kiawah, Nature Center, weekly park activities and carnivals all less than 100 yds away. The beach is about 300 yds away and is an easy 3 minute stroll. The park is the hub of all Kiawah activities and it is only a few steps away!

The cottage has undergone a major renovation which created a great open area for living. The floors are hardwood with recessed lighting throughout ..... giving the cottage a wonderful bright and airy feeling. The kitchen was expanded and has gas range, new appliances, new cabinets, and granite countertops throughout. The Master Bath Suite has walk-in shower with multiple shower heads, all new bathroom with 'adult - height' vanities and marble counters. The 2nd Bathroom has shower/tub and also all new renovated with adult height vanity and marble top.

The cottage is equipped with a large screen LCD Hi Definition television above the fireplace in the family room plus additional LCD televisions in each bedroom. The cottage has wireless internet access throughout.

The back porch is screened in with a 4 person table plus additional seating chairs for back porch dining and entertaining.

This property is managed by the Kiawah Island Resort but we are able to pass on amenities to you as our guest. It is in the highest category of Kiawah Resort rental properties!!! You will have full check-in privileges and all amenities as a resort guest including access to all resort pools (only for resort guests, which includes you!), discounts on golf and tennis, etc.

The cottage sleeps 6 in beds. The Master BR is a king bed. The 2nd bedroom is a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom is 2 twin beds. An additional single air mattress bed can be reserved if desired. The twin beds in the 3rd bedroom can be converted to king beds if desired (for a slight additional housekeeping charge).

We DO NOT allow pets or smoking inside the cottage, however, we do have another cottage that does allow pets.

This villa has it all! Perfect location within steps to The Nest and pools! Beautifully decorated and well appointed. No need for bike rentals as they provide them here. These owners thought of everything and gave excellent recommendations to restaurants. Highly recommend!

Our group of five adults had a great stay at this cottage. It was roomy, clean, and well stocked. It is finished with high-end flooring, countertops, bathroom fixtures, etc. We especially loved the screened-in porch. Having the four bikes at our disposal was a huge bonus.

Fabulous Kiawah Cottage
We could not have been more pleased with the cottage we rented at Kiawah. It was just as good as advertised and convenient to the pool, market area, and beach. We would definitely book this property again!

The property was exactly as described - professionally decorated, kitchen well appointed & comfortable beds. The best location! You can walk to the village store (which has specialty ice cream & deli offerings) & one of the resort pools is nearby. Great beach vacation
We had a wonderful stay here- location and amenities couldn’t be beat. We enjoyed the easy walk to the pool, playground and beach along with comfortable beds and all the extras you needed as a family to enjoy your stay. The number of towel hooks was also a huge plus for beach towels and wet bathing suits! We will definitely book again!

Wedding Weekend on Kiawah
This cottage is very cozy and comfortable. Our son & DIL had to cancel last minute so our daughter, my husband and I had plenty of space with an extra bedroom. We cooked one night in the well-supplied kitchen. We enjoyed walking to the beach from the cottage. It is a beautiful setting. We would love to return!

The location of the property could not have been better. 4 min. walk to pool and recreation area with restaurant and nature center. 5 min. walk to beach. The villa had been updated and redone inside and out side. Bikes and beach cart were included. We thoroughly enjoyed air stay. We will definitely return

Beautiful home in great location!
We loved this property. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was perfect for us because it was a two minute walk to the night heron pools and a four minute walk to the beach. Appreciated the beach cart, chairs and beach toys as well as a full outdoor shower to keep sand inside to a minimum. The third bedroom was wonderful with the bunk beds. Very helpful with kids. Communication with the owner was A+. Before and during our stay he always communicated quickly with any questions we had. We are already booked to come back for another stay!

Perfect location; beautiful cottage
From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love. This cottage is perfectly situated within walking distance to Night Heron Park (2 minutes) and the beach (5 minutes), in a cozy neighborhood of similarly sized homes. The interior has been recently renovated, and the owners' good taste and attention to detail was clearly evident. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable, and everything was clean and fresh. We have stayed on Kiawah many times, but my wife and I agreed - for us and our three boys - this home has been the best we've ever rented. We will definitely be back!

Great property and location! Quiet neighborhood(except for some construction each am but not horrible). Great screened in porch and kitchen! Only reason I gave 4 stars was that linens were not of good standard. Appeared dirty and had many bleach spots due to area cleaning. With standard of this property, I would expect better linens. But other than that, it was great! Would stay again for sure!

Wonderful stay!
We loved so much about this property, it had everything we needed as a family of four. The location is perfect, furnishings are comfortable, spacious and updated, and the resort access is a major bonus. We appreciated the access to bikes and everything needed for the beach including a wagon- it made packing for the trip easier and less we needed to rent. We were surprised by the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms because that wasn’t in the listing photos yet but it looked to have been a new update- plus our kids were thrilled. Really appreciated all of the information the owner provided for planning purposes and check in was a breeze. Only minor negative was we felt the floors could have been cleaner on arrival but I wouldn’t let that deter you- book if it’s available!

2019 Christmas vacation
First of all, it is a beautiful neighborhood and resort overall. Markets and gas stations located really close and convenient. The cottage has been renovated but it is rather small. Windows were dusty like they had not been cleaned in a while. Toilet in the master room had a stain i was never able to get rid of. Appliances and kitchen gadgets , pots and pans were old and certainly need a change. I like the resort, however, the property needs major touch up.

4154 NIght Herron
Our three week experience this January was great. 4154 Night Herron was newly redecorated with a modern kitchen and full cookware. Master bed was very comfortable. Bike trails were great in January as no one was here as was walking on the beach. Location near entrance to resort was good so didn't need to drive far. The Kiawah staff immediately addressed within ten minutes our only issue - broken front door lock - and was very friendly and courteous with all questions and followed up. The only minor negative was the cleaning crew could have done a little better job before we moved in. I ran into them before we moved in and asked if they would be done in an hour and they said "we'll be out in 15 minutes" - how thorough can you be in 15 minutes? - some dirty dishes in dishwasher and bathroom floors needed to be swept but not that big a deal. Overall a great experience and we will probably be back next January

Perfect Location
This was our second visit to Kiawah. The location of our cottage was perfect! The Night Heron Pool (main pool/activity center) was a quick 4-5 minute walk and the beach entrance was 8-10 minutes (with gear, kids, and wagons!) The cottage looked exactly as pictured. Nicely updated/decorated. The owner was very responsive when we emailed him and also sent periodic updates about prior to our stay. The check in process was VERY SLOW (certainly not the owners fault). We waited about 30 minutes to check in while friends who got there about 20 minutes later waited close to an hour to check in. This is a reflection on Kiawah Resorts! The cottage was comfortable. We loved the use of the beach wagon and beach chairs. Less to pack. We did not take advantage of the bikes available but that was a great touch. The outdoor shower (with hot and cold) was great for the kids to rinse off after the beach. One area that need improvement is the master bed. It was VERY uncomfortable. Lumpy and noisy when rolling over. Also, the master shower had black mold where the shelf and glass met. The screened in porch would have been great to sit out on (we had several days of gorgeous low humidity weather!) but it smelled musty/like cigarette smoke. Overall we were happy with the cottage and enjoyed our visit.

It's the Little Things
The property is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and that deserves a 5-star rating. However, the little things added up and impacted our overall impression of this rental property. 1. The internet username and passwords provided did not work. We were also unable to use the TV in the living room. We called the help desk and were told to reset the modem in the master bedroom but there wasn't a modem there. We searched and found it in the living room but resetting it didn't help at all. We could have waited for someone to come to the condo to fix it but that wasn't a convenient option for us since we were there for the marathon and other outdoor activities. 2. There were NO LINENS for the kitchen. The fresh sponge and roll of paper towels were nice but a hand towel and a dish towel would have been appreciated. We also found leftover food in the refrigerator and we had to unload the dishwasher. 3. While searching for the modem, we found dust bunnies in corners and a pacifier under the master bed. 4. We rented for 6 people but one couple couldn't join us. Good thing since we only received 4 towels. 5. A "Welcome" instruction book for everything in the condo would have been helpful. We couldn't figure out how to light the fireplace. We LOVED the location and its proximity to the beach. We had trouble figuring out where the public access was but with a map in hand and help from kind policeman, we found it. Directions would be helpful to have in a "Welcome" book. We also loved the outdoor living area. We didn't utilize it due to the cold temperatures, but it looked very inviting. We do recommend this rental but be aware that it lacks some of the things we have been accustomed to receiving from other VRBO properties. The owner was responsive to our needs so I suspect the key problems lie with the management company.
