"I stayed here for a solo fishing trip and it was perfect for that. The place is original 70s and simple but very clean, has a great boat parking area with wash down facilities. Also has fish filleting tables, freezers etc. The managers are very friendly and happy to share their extensive local fishing knowledge. I'll be back!"

"Our room was disappointing. The decor is very tired and was very dirty and worn. Merivale should be embarrassed to have it in their stable in its current state. It is in a great place and a renovation would make this a great place to stay, until this happens there are many better options in Narooma."

"there was no light at the motel entrance. It was disficult to locate the property in the dark. The room with cockroaches crawling around. The WiFi is bad. The owner said that we haven't booked the place and the cleaner threw all the food we kept in the fridge without checking my booking properly first. Although the owner bought back some food for us but we still lost some yummy food. This was a bad experience."

"Excellent family getaway - one of the most generous appointed accommodations where one didn't have to bring the kitchen sink. Am used to having to pack one's own basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, washing stuff, laundry stuff, paper towels - but all of that was generously provided. Ian also provides bikes, golf clubs and boogie boards!
