"I stayed in one of the upstairs, teak rooms with fan and shared bath this time. Exceptional value with a comfortable room and clean, shared facilities. Wonderful raised area along the river to gather with friends and enjoy the views. Convenient to the shuttle boat across to the main town and along a traveler-friendly street near the train station. This has become my go-to accommodation choice in Ayutthaya."

"The service was excellent (the staff was really attentionate !), the location is great (you can reach the historical sites very easily by bike), the site and the view are great! The main downside is sleeping : the room is not isolated, neither from noise nor from light. There are very noisy boats passing anytime during the night, cute but noisy birds and lizards, and the sunlight will wake you up pretty early if you don't have something to cover your eyes. "We stayed one night at Roymen, wish we had more time to spend here. This is a beautiful property, very quiet and tranquil. The owner was so friendly, hospitable and accommodating, arranged a tuk tuk for us in no time! She tried helping me with a train ticket issue I was having. She provided us with a coffee and light snack to choose from for breakfast which was delicious. The air conditioning and water pressure was great. Would highly recommend this place. "

"Beautiful, simple room overlooking the river. Staff was very nice and friendly, however, seemed to be new and untrained in the hospitality industry. The place could use a good cleaning - the ceiling lights were full of dead flies. Breakfast is included, but very simple. Functional, but not great. The restaurant, however, is excellent. Overall, for the price and location, it's a great stay. "

"Wonderful homestay in peaceful setting We booked two bamboo huts at Cast Away for our family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hospitality from Panit and his parents was very special. You can see that the family really care about their guests. Three home cooked meals were provided as part of the (inexpensive) room rate, and the food was simply outstanding! So much delicious Thai food! We felt very welcome. We wish we stayed longer, and next time we will. It was fun to hire cycles and explore...

"It's a home that has been converted into a 5 room hotel. There is free parking. It's cramped, but there's parking. It's on the river, which is nice, but you'll hear river boats throughout the day and night. Because it is formerly a house, you'll hear the guests next door pretty easily. Overall, it's a nice, not too expensive place to stay. No complaints about the room, other than we could hear everything going on in the other rooms. If you like to sleep in, you might want to choose somewhere...
