Jackhammering Construction Zone
If you enjoy the sounds of jackhammering and heavy duty impact wrenches on steel containers, combined with waiting in your car for construction crews to move, this is the property for you! We were prepared for buildings around the property to have some construction, but this property only had one lane open to get to the parking garage that was regularly blocked by construction crews. The only source of fresh air was the sliding glass door and there was an active jackhammer work ongoing outside that door. Additional work in the comdos being built was almost as loud as the jackhammer. Vacasa was awful to deal with, saying that they had no idea if the construction schedule. If they have visited the property anytime within the last 6 mos, they should have had an idea and disclosed it. We go to Summit County in the summer to relax, which was impossible at this property while some of the construction is ongoing. We finally got Vacasa to move us, but it took almost an entire day of trying to reach the “local team” and continually calling back. The local person I did finally speak with told me that they can’t be aware of what’s going on with a property, so scary to think that the get paid for managing a property and are unaware of what’s going on with it. FWIW, the studio seemed decent, just be aware of the construction.
