Calusa resort is a gated community located in Key Largo. Community rests on Buttonwood bay. Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 2 bedroom/ 1 bath 36 foot mobile home. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the other bedroom is furnished with a sleeper sofa. The unit is modern and recently replaced. In the living room the couch folds out and will sleep 2 small children. There is a 32'" flat screen in the living room TV. The kitchen is equipped with an air fryer and microwave, coffee maker and filters, including a blender. A second kitchen is located on the patio fully equipped with an induction stove top, microwave, mini fridge/freezer, sink. The property also has a cozy full screened porch furnished with patio furniture and nice sitting area for dining or kicking back. Adding to your dining choices, a propane barbeque grill is provided. If cooking is not your thing then it won't hard to hit the town and find one of many great dining destinations, many offer waters edge dining adventures. Key Largo area has no shortage of great dining choices. Guests are entitled to full access to heated community pool, boat ramp with first come first serve boat dockage on Buttonwood bay. There is ocean access, approx 8 miles via boat through Adams cut or Tavenier Creek. There is a community 2 story balcony that over looks Buttonwood bay for sun bathing or catching the daily wonderful sunset. There is a tandem kayak for guest use with life vests and paddles to view local manatees or nightly sunsets. A couple of bikes are on the property for all to cruise the resort. A pickleball court located on the premises and paddles and balls are supplied in the unit. This property was just updated and is roomy, clean and modern. The Key Largo area also offers daily diving and fishing charters. Lots of attractions in the area and if you need to get a little wild then Key West is 100 miles south of the property. A sure place to relax and make memories with friends and family.

Great Experience
The place was clean; everything worked as it should. It was in close proximity to a bathhouse and laundry service also. Nice, quiet community. Would definitely stay here again. Host was super and great about communicating despite the fact that we had a glitch on our end from not receiving our messages! Jeff took it all in stride and made sure we were taken care of!!

We loved the campground. The view from the pool to see the sunset is amazing!! The location is great for everything: diving, boating, restaurants, and Publix!! Our favorite to go to was Islamorada for food and sight viewing (30 mn drive) and Marathon (1 hour drive). My husband and son loved diving from Key Largo!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was super clean and the AC worked well! Beds were comfortable with soft sheets. Loved the screened in patio area. Location was 10 mins from where we booked our snorkeling so that was perfect and we had so much fun. Check in process was easy and we felt safe. Additional towels would have been nice, we did notice there's no hand towels. We couldn't get the oven to work but the air fryer was great! It was a bit noisy at night with cars speeding by and loud music until almost 2am, but honestly it was Memorial Day weekend, so people were just having fun and we still slept good! Everyone was really friendly too and we talked with several people while watching the sunset. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Dated RV that fulfilled our needs as an older couple. The host was wonderful! The grounds were very nice and the location made it easy for us to visit all the Keys. We had never lived in an RV before and the pull outs were nice. It had a few issues due to age, but we improvised and went with the flow. Enjoy your island time.

No frills but adequate
Basic small trailer in Calusa Campground with easy access to Key Largo. Nothing fancy about this place but it is reasonably priced and you get access to the campground pool and boat dock. We used the kayak to paddle around the canal and saw several manatees and other marine life including tarpon and barracuda. Not a bad place to stay if you’re just sleeping there and don’t want many amenities. The stove wasn’t working when we were there and there were no dish cloths or face towels which was odd.

Spacious RV in great campground
We enjoyed our stay in this RV with attached screen porch. Check in was easy and unit was incredibly clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of closet space and comfortable bed. Campground is well maintained and very clean. The pool is beautiful and there were plenty of chairs to relax. We enjoyed paddling the kayak in the mangroves. Hammocks by the water were great for a nap.

We enjoyed our stay at a convenient location in Key Largo with pool and marina access. Everyone in the community was very friendly! The lodging was clean and equipped for basic cooking/grilling. In addition to the bathrooms and shower available, the community has two bathhouses that were also very clean and convenient. The same goes for the two laundry facilities. I would definitely plan to stay here again if I return to Key Largo!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Jeff was so nice and even helped us discard luggage that was damaged by the airlines. You’ll love this little retreat off the beaten path but so close to great food and attractions. All the places that Jeff recommended fulfilled our expectations. We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay in Calusa Campground. The home was as described in the listing. We found the bed comfortable. The mobile home is not new, but everything was clean and well stocked. It has new microwave and air fryer which made meals quick and easy. The air conditioning worked great. Thanks for a great stay in Key Largo!

Convenient location
We vistited for a fishing trip so we were gone most of the day and mainly utilized the propery for somewhere to sleep. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby and close to the state park. The private boat ramp was great, and we were able to park a 17ft boat on site. Quiet on weeknights but got a bit loud/busy on the weekend nights. Would recommend bringing some additional bath towels but linens and some basic items were supplied. Host was very helpful in answering all my questions and made sure everything was going well!

The property was clean and we loved biking around. There is a kayak but we were informed of a resident croc so we were afraid to launch it in the rv park. The rv was clean but needs a few repairs. We were comfortable though and the air worked great. The owner is responsive and courteous. It is a great location!

Very clean, well equipped. Old camper everything worked. Loved having access to the bikes and kayak. We were able to kayak with a few manatees. Everyone was very friendly including the campground staff. Host was very quick to respond to any questions. Close to groceries and shopping.

Key Largo
We enjoyed our stay very much. The trailer is older but in good shape. We slept well and enjoyed walks around campground. Pool was awesome and warm. We saw manatees every night. Publix foodstore was just across highway so we had meals at trailer. We went out on day trips, the location was close to many attractions. We would stay again. The movies and new sound system were great too.
