Are you looking to go to a place where life is less complicated, less hurried and immensely more enjoyable?
If so look no farther than the Florida Keys! In the Keys, time is on your side. Adventure and excitement are found at your pace and at the end of the day you return to your own vacation home and relax on your dock with not a care in the world.

The vacation house is a 1600 foot half duplex located on a wide canal facing east. The brand new deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise at breakfast, have an afternoon nap or toast the day with a cocktail and a great Keys seafood dinner-with your “ catch of the day “. We have installed a fence around the periphery of the deck to make it safer for children and adults alike.
The step down dock is accessible through a lockable gate.
The dock itself is 37.5 feet long with fish cleaning table.
An ice machine is located on the side of the house.

The duplex itself has been recently renovated and contains upscale furniture throughout The bedrooms all have large flatscreen TVs as well as iPad/iPod dockable him and clock radios. All of the rooms have ceiling fans.

The kitchen has granite surfaces and stainless steel appliances as well as gourmet cooking equipment. Preparing your catch after a successful day of fishing will be a snap. Don't forget that your favorite vintage is waiting in the built-in wine cooler!

Located in the heart of the Florida Keys, Key Colony Beach is a short walk, car or boat ride from the main attractions of the Keys region. Water sports are king and if you like fishing, you have your choice of world-class deep-sea, flats fishing, fly fishing or just wading in the water to catch your dinner..
A private 37.5 foot dock is right outside your door. Fishing, diving, snorkeling, touring, sunbathing, or just lounging on the deck or at a nearby club or beach are all available depending on your mood. Tennis courts, a par three golf course, bocce ball courts, and children's playgrounds are all within an easy stroll.
Your vacation rental includes a membership at the Key Colony Beach Cabana Club and Inch Beach, both are short walk or bike ride away. The Cabana Club has a full size pool, sandy beach and an authentic Tiki bar. Beverages and food are available at your request. At Inch Beach you will find a private sandy beach, picnicking facilities with a grill and a large grassy area for children.
Within a few more steps, Sunset Park is the place to wind down your day. The sunset views are amazing and throughout the year free concerts are held at Sunset Park, just before sunset. Bring your lounge chairs, coolers and snacks-relax, listen to the music and watch the sunset.

Stayed here with family. We all had a great time. Close to local beaches, state parks, shopping, and restaurants. Property is in great condition and very clean. Would recommend staying here if wanting to visit the keys!

What a Great Month in the Keys!
Bottom line up front — this was our second year staying here for the month, and we’ll be back next year for a month as well. Believe that says-it-all. All the comforts of home, plus a deck on the canal, plus the Cabana Club, plus Inch Beach — who could ask for more? Well-suited for families, our “grand-dudes” (2, 3, and 5) had a great time as well. Greatly appreciate that we have been able to live in Key Colony, looking forward to many more years.

The property was very nice. The home is spacious and provides everything for a great stay. The dock is very nice. Gregg was great to communicate with and I made a late change to add an unexpected guest which required a change to the pool access and was handled immediately. Highly recommended.

Everything about this place was wonderful. It was a great location- close enough to the necessities, but our of the busy touristy setting. We fished right off the dock and saw sharks, jellyfish, a manatee and other sea life. The pool club was amazing and offered a more laid back setting. Had absolutely everything we needed to make our own meals and fell right at home. Gregg was just a text away for any questions that we had. We'll hopefully bring going back to this property for another visit.

Very nice place. We booked based on reviews, bc photos did not represent property well. A few maintenance issues, but property manager said those are being addressed. Key colony is a nice community, deck space was fantastic. House is very well equipped. We were a little disappointed that pool wasn’t a little closer and only a few of the bikes were in working order. Overall, great place, would stay again.

Marathon vacation
Great location lots to do in the area. Inch beach, cabana club, sunset point. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving supplies and spices. There were a lot of outdoor activity equipment such as bikes and pool and ocean toys. There is also a great selection of games, books, dvds. The deck was awesome especially liked the railing since we had younger children. We even had manatees stop by a couple times. The one thing we did not expect was we needed to supply paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper. In the checkout instructions it asked us to start a loud of towels upon checkout but they did not supply the laundry detergent. The king bed head board needs to be tightened as everytime you moved it would squeak. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Two perfect weeks!!
We picked a great house this year. Plenty of room for two couples to spread out. Because of COVID, we did not go to restaurants and cooked in every night. The kitchen had more than enough of everything to make meal prep enjoyable. We enjoyed the deck and the dock and the ice machine was such an added bonus. Super location, just a short ride from the boat ramp to the canal. The house is clean and well taken care of. Booking process was easy and the check in and check out instructions clear. The manager Gregg was available for any questions. Highly recommend this house.

Expectations Exceeded!
Our family enjoyed a great stay at this property and would highly recommend it to others! The pictures and description don't tell the whole story. This property is a hidden gem, very spacious and the kitchen is extraordinary - so well equipped by the "foodie" owners (who also provided a welcome gift upon our arrival=). The bedrooms are roomy with very comfortable beds and the Master suite was truly incredible. The deck was a great spot to sit and relax or eat meals and provided convenient access to the canal for our SeaDoos or for manatee watching. We also really appreciated having the garage as well as bikes available for rides to the beach or Cabana Club. Thanks Michael for sharing your beautiful home and for being so attentive to the details!

key colony beach
The house was beautiful and the owner was very gracious and left us a bottle of wine and coffee for our stay. We had a few hiccups during our stay. The air conditioning broke on day 2 and the second night was almost unbearable to sleep. It was fixed very quickly the next day and the people managing the home were very efficient but we learned that the a/c has not been working properly for some time. The stove stopped working for a day and the microwave stopped working 2 days before we left. The wifi did not work after day 2. Some maintenance to this house is probably needed. All in all tour stay was was fabulous and the weather delightful. It was well stocked with dishes, glasses and towels.

We made the right choice!!
This vacation home exceeded every expectation and made for a memorable Florida Keys vacation on Key Colony Beach! The home is beautifully decorated in a light, airy and comfortable fashion, is immaculately clean, spacious and well designed and provides every amenity you could think of for a pleasurable stay. It feels as if you’re a guest in someone’s home, not a renter. Our mornings and evenings were spent on the oversized, waterfront deck in comfortable Adirondack chairs with foot stools enjoying the sights and sounds, our afternoons were spent relaxing at the private, swimmable, secluded beach walking distance away and our dinners were spent exploring excellent local fare within close proximity. We lived like rock stars and pretended this was our real life for a week. We didn’t use the dock or fishing amenities so for someone interested in those features, it would put this place way over the top. I spend a lot of time investigating homes on VRBO, am a frequent user and believe in providing candid feedback for shoppers because there are so many options. This house lived up to every promise. Seriously, all you need to bring with you is a tank top and shorts, swimsuit, flip flops, sunscreen, sunglasses, a great book and enjoyable company. The rest has been taken care of for you as guests in this home. They even left us wine and coffee. Sweet! Enjoy your stay here...we're sure you'll love as much as we did!

Great Stay in KCB
Comfortable house with great location. Greg, the property manager, was helpful and responsive to questions and needs. Kitchen is well furnished and we cooked several meals. Great fishing off canal. Enjoyed the beach and Cabana club too! A bonus is the friendly neighbors who gave us tomatoes and lent fishing rods. We hope to stay again!

Sunshine and moonlight on the canal.
Our second time at this property and we felt like we were coming home. Practically perfect in every way! Only problem is we had to leave. And they have already booked with someone else for next year. We adjusted our dates so we could come back. Love the Cabana Club, bike rides, sunset celebration and Inch Beach.
