"If you love anything Victorian this is the place for you! The woodwork was exquisite! We had a lovely stay. Barbara was a wonderful hostess and made us a delicious breakfast! Fresh fruit with whipped cream. Lemon poppy seed muffins, raspberry kuken, ham and cheese omelets, OJ, coffee and tea! We enjoyed chatting with her and finding out about the history of the house!"

"The Tiskilwa Inn is nicely restored mansion originally built in 1848. It has 5 guest rooms, all recently refurbished in the finest style. Our first night we were the only guests so it felt like our own private stately home. I want to go back so I can stay in each of the other four rooms."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of kind touches included such as pizza, breakfast items, soap etc. The Vrbo listing had hot tub listed as amenity in error but there was a nice deep tub in bathroom. Glad to have found this place and would stay again!"
