"The views from the property were so beautiful. The house had everything that we needed. Kim was a very good host and got back quickly to me anytime I had a question. It was a true Alaska experience. Too bad the hot tub was not working because it sure would’ve been nice to soak after a long day on the boat. Also, I thought being secluded on an island would be amazing. "Everything was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Location requires a rental car, but since we had one, it worked just fine. We enjoyed being so close to Herring Cove where we could watch the bears and eagles first thing every morning, and last thing every evening. Can't walk to the ocean, as the forest is too thick. View is beautiful, tho."

"The place was perfect for 2 people. We spent a lot of time in the afternoons out on the deck watching people from the cruise ships. Location was great. Easy walk to downtown. A bit more challenging coming back, but you can get a cab to bring you back up the hill. Would definitely stay here again."
