"The immediate vicinity of the hotel was unexpected. In spite of that, we loved everything about it. The owner and his wife checked us in and could not have been nicer. The room was clean with a large walk-in closet and refrigerator. The best part of our visit was Terrance! He was the young man running the breakfast service the following morning! Breakfast was good in a lovely room with a beautiful view. But Terrance was the highlight of the morning! He was helpful about our visit to Burg Eltz, thoughtful about seating for us with our dog, and genuinely a great guy! We would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming pool, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one evening meal we took. All in all, a really nice stay at Sporthotel Grafenwald!"
