This exquisite straw bale home is perfect for a wine country getaway. The patio, outdoor fireplace, and grill overlook the beautiful yard surrounding the home and the local mountains. You will have a full kitchen, dining area, and a comfortable TV room. The home also has Netflix streaming and cable. The home is heated by radiant floor heating and a fireplace. It's been designed to keep the home cool in the summer and warm in the winter, so there's no place better than this! Even if the cold weather is too much, there is a wood fireplace available in the living room area. On warm evenings, enjoy picturesque sunsets before heading to bed.

In the heart of wine country, you will be surrounded by countless wineries and within an hour of Napa Valley. You will be just under ten miles from Santa Rosa, where you will find restaurants, shopping, and much more. Trione-Annadel, Sugarloaf Ridge, and Hood Mountain state parks are also in the immediate area. Just 15 miles south is the Jack London State Historic Park.

Beautiful home in the country
This was a real nice home in a rural setting. We saw deer and fawns and geese with gosslings. We also enjoyed the cornhole.

A little disappointed
Doors locked poorly and came into unlocked doors, tacky caution sign on one door, no patio furniture built , dry pond, linen on master bedroom and towels had a smell . Scary Trap door in master closet not disclosed and not locked . Master toilet backed up into master shower drain . No window coverings in most rooms ., no ice in ice maker , needs maintenance for the property . Spider webs throughout house.

Kenwood Mess
The property was terrible. It did not match the description or pictures. Overall dirty, filthy carpets, door that did not lock, outside property dirty, no gas in BBQ, abandoned car in 1 of 3 parking spots, ...... We requested to be moved and Vacasa quickly did so. Although not in an ideal location for our plans, the property was better. They indicated they had complaints before and would remove the property from their offerings. They should inspect these properties prior to renting.

Unique property and extremely comfortable bed in the primary bedroom. The only negative is the fairly dirty carpet in the primary bedroom.

Average quality
We booked this vrbo for the location and hot tub. When we arrived the yard was very overgrown and almost unrecognizable from the pictures provided online. The hot tub was dirty and not functioning. After we booked the listing was updated removing it but it’s still heavily discussed in the reviews. Very disappointed in this. The only tv is in the master bedroom and has 2 chairs to be used during viewing. Very poor lighting in master bath. Loud chicken farm next door. Other than that the kitchen was ok, decent grill and house was clean.

Lovely Property
Very pretty house and location. Know - there are no HVAC ducting, in the house, that I could see. I think the house heating may be radiant-floor heat. It takes +-36-hours for the house to warm up. Plan to be cold, your first night. In each bedroom closet, there is one of those portable, plug-in oil-radiator heaters. If you arrive and it is chilly, locate those portable heaters and plug them in, right away. That is the only criticism I have, of the property. Otherwise, it is a beautiful house in a beautiful, serene setting. I hope you enjoy your stay, as much as we enjoyed ours.

Vacasa 325 Hoff Road
There is no TV sitting room as listed. The TV is in the master bedroom with two chairs. The heating/cooling system is disappointing; very hot when we arrived and got too cold overnight. The management company has atrocious customer service. We notified them at check-in that the back door doesn't lock and the hot water spigot in the master doesn't work. We got lots of promises to send a repairman but no one came.

A great getaway
The property and house was lovely. The house was dusty and living room and most carpets were soiled. The alarm system ruined our stay as directions were poor and it went off every time a door was opened. I had my grandbaby visiting and she was truly scared by the loud sounds. It took us a while to get someone to help us with it. We got one good half day out of it. The pond was green and was not fenced. We loved the house but all of the above ruined our stay.

Beautiful setting, cleanliness did not meet expectations
What a beautiful home and outdoor space. The pictures are very accurate. Given the price point, I was surprised to see mice multiple times during our stay in the kitchen and bedroom hallway. Also the freezer had an unknown substance crusted on the bottom on the freezer and there was broken glass in the ice bin. There was also a broken bottle and trash in the bushes to the left of the door. Also I sent many messages to the property asking about the proximity of the property to wildfire evacuation zones and it took 2 phone calls in addition to the messages to get my question answered.

Huge Disaster
When we arrived we found the backdoor did not lock at all. We contacted the property management team but received no help. It's a pretty remote area so decided to just barricade the door and hope for the best. When my husband moved a small sofa to barricade the door, a huge lizard ran out from under it! It ran under the cabinets before we could do anything about it. At this point it was late and the baby was tired so my husband went to lie down with him while I continued to try to reach to management for help. He then told me that when he got to the bedroom he found animal feces all over the pillows of the bed. We were exhausted so we were determined to try to make this place work for at least the night. So we went to set up the pull out bed and found food and rat poop in that bed! This place was such a huge health and safety hazard we gave up, booked a hotel elsewhere and left. I'm still trying to get my money back for this disgusting place.

Clean property, central location
We loved the backyard setting to sit on the porch in the morning and evenings. Kitchen well stocked. This property does not have central air conditioning and the house gets uncomfortably warm during the hot summer days. Many of the windows would not open and multiple screens were broken upon arrival, which made opening windows to cool down the space difficult. I tried reaching property management multiple times by phone and was on hold for over 20 minutes each time and they never picked up. Lighting in dining room and bedrooms poor and dark. Overall, good location, but we felt the home was overpriced for what it was.

Good Layout but HVAC system has issues.
We stayed in February. Upon arrival the house temperature was 58 degrees. We received an email stating that the house was ready for us. I checked the thermostats; the system was not turned on. We turned it on in the living room and master bedroom and then went to the grocery store. We came back and hour later and it was still 58. We went to bed with all the blankets we could find. In the morning it was 62 degrees. The temp in the house was never above 68. We lost electricity in the master suite when we plugged in the space heater. It took 3 days to get fixed. The hot water in the master sink does not work. On the plus side, there are new dishes right alongside the old, chipped ones.

Wonderful Kenwood property
We enjoyed the house and the fabulous location. Equi-distant to Healdsburg and Sonoma. Very beautiful property with a small lake where we enjoyed a Blue Heron, an Egrit, and a slew of deer and ducks. The outdoor space was very enjoyable, and the hot tub was clean and in perfect operating condition. Our only suggestions (complaints) were: 1) the outdoor space and furniture was not clean upon our arrival. 2) the kitchen was new and spacious but was not stocked well enough with essentials like silverware and plates. We had to wash all of these items after every meal. 3) all of the dinner plates were chipped. It would be very easy for the owner to re-stock the kitchen with essential items and utensils and this place would be a FIVE rating. The management company Vacasa was very responsive and handled all of our questions immediately. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly consider staying in this house on our next trip to Sonoma.

Property needs a lot of work
The location and layout of the house is great for Napa Wine tasting. Inside, the furniture could use updating - tears on furniture in living room. The hot water nozzle in the main bath did not work. The air did not work even after trying all the tips from the property manager. Outside, the property was a MESS!! The grass in the front yard was up to our knees (no exaggeration). We contacted the property manager and they said they would try to get it mowed, but no guarantee. It was not mowed while we were there. The back area was also overgrown (although not as bad as the front). The outdoor furniture was completely unusable. They were full of duck poop and debris from outside. The back patio furniture cushions were torn and tossed about...again, unusable. I would have given this property a better rating if they just would have tried to clean up the yard, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I saw a prior review about this same thing and the property manager replied that the weather in CA was the reason why it was in such disarray. This simply cannot be the case - I really wish I could upload pictures here. It is evident that this is ongoing issue. It's a shame it was in this shape because it would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine around the pond.

Great location for a weekend get away!
My friends and I rented this house for a girls weekend and had a great time! The house is beautiful and looks exactly like it did in the pictures, which is always nice! The kitchen had a bunch of supplies and dishes to use which was really nice. I've stayed in other houses that say they have kitchen items available to use and its laughable when you get there, but not this house. All the basics and then some! We also loved having the wine fridge available to use! The beds were comfy and scenery from the backyard was beautiful! The are a ton of lightswitches in that house and it's confusing to remember what goes to what. The lights often flicker in the house (multiple times an hour) and especially if you run an appliance. The ones that dim, the switches were extremely hot to the touch. There is a tv in the master bedroom living area, however, it only gets a few channels. Having a list of the channels available would have been very helpful. A few of the glass doors that lock, don't actually lock and that was concerning being a house full of just girls. This could have been user error, however turning a lock to "lock" it and turning it to "unlock" it is very logical and the door could still be opened to the outside. There are multiple thermostats and none of them actually worked for us. We never once heard the heater kick on. It would be nice to have some simple instructions on how to use them. The location of this house couldn't have been more perfect for us! It was within just a few miles of everything we had planned on visiting! We would definitely stay in this house again and enjoyed our girls weekend here!

Nice home
This home has a beautiful living space with a gourmet kitchen. We were able to cook and enjoy our time there. The location was the main reason we selected the property. Oddly there was no TV in the main rooms, only in one of the bedrooms. The bedrooms were nice, although the beds and pillows were hard. There was insufficient lighting in most rooms. The bathroom trim was very rustic and looked shabby. Unfortunately we experienced a sewage back up in one of the bathroom showers. This ruined our stay.

Yearly visit to wine country
The property itself was beautiful! I thought we had found our yearly rental; however, Vacasa has left a bad taste. the hot tub was listed as an amenity. I corresponded with the owner of the house to see why we had to pay an additional charge for the hot tub and his response was for upkeep. Up on arrival, the hot tub was full of frogs and other debris and I contacted Vacasa And was told that it was not listed as one of our amenities, however, in the handbook laying on the bar where the guidelines for usage of the hot tub. Vacasa quoted on the phone that they would refund the hot tub fee. To this day that has not been done. I would rent the house again if it was under another company, but I would never rent from Vacasa again.

Very disappointed
Very limited use out area - patio floor was filthy, furniture had mold - no cushions - furniture pushed up against wall with dirty cushions staked. Front lounge area was filthy and unusable. Spiders and cob webs inside, carpet dirty in mater bedroom. Some screens on doors unusable, a window in master was not working. Standing fan to use to circulate air did not work well. Cob webs and dirt on windows. Very disappointed!
