It was just a 20-minute drive to Covington, making it super convenient, yet peaceful and private. The cottage was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and felt incredibly safe and welcoming. The bed and bedding were so cozy, I slept like a dream.Jamie, Angie, and Nick were warm and kind hosts. I even brought my young niece to visit the horses and donkeys, which was such a treat. I loved sipping my morning coffee while listening to the roosters and watching the horses roam. In the evenings, winding down with tea under the twinkle of patio lights was the perfect end to the day.Although I wasn’t around much during the day, I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy escape. Situated a little more than an hour from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, we were able to visit both cities and retreat to the quiet castle at night.
